Hi Sandi , It's nice to meet you , thank you for stopping by my blog. I usually do add ties to the seatcover corners but left them off for these 2 chairs. They would have had to tie to the caning - I was worried it would break,luckily the fabric is nubby enough so that it stays in place . have a great week! Sue
