Gone Too Soon ~

A mothers' heart loves like no other...
A mother's heart breaks like no other...

I received a heartbreaking phone call today.
My cousin's 18 year old son passed away in his sleep.
She is the one who found him
in his bed this morning.
gone.
in the blink of an eye.
no time to say goodbye.
her only child.

Life can change so fast and we are sent reeling
when it deals a blow like this. I spent time with her today,
talked with her
about her son,
cried with her and then
drove her home a little while ago .

Please pray for her...she needs it so much.
She is a single mother who lost her dad
very suddenly last fall and now her son.
Her mom has passed on as well.

She is feeling a bit lost, so please
lift her up in prayer that God
will shelter her under His wing and
comfort her aching heart.

I love you so much Deanna!!

    We will certainly hold her up in prayer. I put her on the church's prayer chain as well. My heart aches for her.

    I am so sad for your friend's loss. I can't begin to imagine but I do know one who knows her sorrow and He gave His only begotten Son...

    I'm adding her to my prayer list as well as you...her friend....

    I am so sorry about her loss and yours. Sometimes our pain is beyond words and that is when we need to pray for one another. Prayer is the only thing we can do...I will pray for you also that the Lord will use you as a healing baulm and you will be given the right things to do and say at just the right times...I remember my Momma going through the loss of a Mom, two sons and a precious step father in the same year. It was soooo very hard to see her hurting so terribly. I will keep your cousin and family in my prayers.

    I know it doesn't help but I'm so sorry this happened to your sweet cousin! Her son is in a better place but she is here alone. I will pray for her and your family to be eased through this time.

    Oh, Sandi, I am so very sorry to hear of the pain that your cousin, Deanna, is going through. And of course, you and the rest of the family. Every precious life touches so many. You have certainly been a blessing to her today. I pray that she may feel the Lord's presence in a special way tonight and in the days ahead. Having lost 3 precious ones myself this year, I can only recommend that she lean on Jesus, "look full in His wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace". Call upon His Name - He's only a whisper away....
