A Simple Gesture

My daughter-in-law handed me these beautiful roses
when they stopped by a couple days ago.

She had picked them just for me off of her own
gorgeous rosebushes.

I was thrilled that she would think of me and I just
had to share them with you.

See if you really know me...then you know it is
the little things
that make me happy...send me over the moon.

I don't need anything grand.
I don't want anything grand.
Just bring me a handpicked bouquet
and you have made my day.

Make someone's day this week with a small gesture...
I guarantee they will remember it for some
time to come.

    aah...the "little things" ...how very wonderful they are! Such a sweet daughter-in-law. reminds me...i am going to cut some of my own pink roses and drop them off at my dear mother-in-law's tomorrow. thanks for reminding me that she too loves the "little things."
