Rosette Party today!

I hope you wonderful rosette makers out there
will bear with me today. I decided last night...at the
last minute that I wanted to join the
French Cupboard rosette party.
Definitely not much time to prepare so be warned
that these are not the most beautiful photos you will
ever see , but they are definitely rosettes.

I made this rosette pin a few days ago by tearing off a
strip of old white fabric that had the crochet trim still
attached. I love how it turned out. One of my
favorites right now.

I made these on the spur of the moment last night. I took two silk roses apart and stamped, stamped,
stamped Parisian images on the petals. That is as far as I have gotten...more work to be done
on these.

I made most of these rosettes at one time or another
except the colored ones. I am sure you know who
made them. Yes it was Erica of Meadowstreet! Love her work!!

{ I posted this wristlet several days ago,
but am reposting it for this rosette party}

I cut the shabby trim off the top of a skirt
and made this ivory rosette wristlet.
I wanted it to be simple so all I did was add a small
muslin rosette that I had made and some tiny
vintage lace.

These white gauze rosettes are in my Etsy
store right now. I love working with this
dreamy thin fabric. No two are ever alike.

These are some of the first rosettes I ever made.
I hooked three of them together and added
some ribbon tails and a button like Erica did.

I know there are gorgeous rosettes out there
in blogland. You can see many more by
attending the rosette party today through
the weekend.

  6. Hi Sandy! I'm a member of French Cupboard and joined in a little too late for the Rosette Party. But I am chiming in by linking.
I love the first rosettes you made with the little tails and joined them all together. You can add a satin ribbon both sides and make a beautiful necklace out of them. It would be so beautiful!!
Anyway, I am following your blog now, won't you follow mine too!
    Ciao for now. Jen
