Paint and hydrangeas

I am still amazed at how a little white paint can
totally transform an object.

It can take something from drab to fab

from atrocious to scrumptious

from downright ugly to amazingly beautiful!

This is before the white makeover.
{Goodwill find again...$5.00}
It looks so much better now!
Don't you agree?
I am thinking that I may want some type
of lettering or decal where the large
silver oval used to be (I just had to remove it...ugh),
but for now I left it plain.

Linking up with Faded Charm for White Wednesday.

Blessings~

  1. Oh Sandi, it so beautiful. What a wonderful makeover project. It's a good thing you can see past the ugly when you stumble across a piece like that and know that with just a bit of paint and elbow grease, you can totally transform it into something special. I probably would have cringed and just walked away from it myself.

  23. Hi Sandi, it's been quite awhile since I've been out visiting. I've had one crazy summer.

    I'm glad I visited you though. I was forgetting how much I love white. Ya know, I've shoped at that store ever since they opened and I've never boughten anything. The napkins are beautiful, I'm so glad you went for them.
