My house looks like disaster central right now
because:
there is stuff everywhere!!
totes, boxes, gift wrap, tape, dishes, food, pans,
clothes, {unmade bed...shh...I usually get it made before
this time of day}, messy bathroom, cluttered kitchen, dishes in the sink,
dining room table laden down with ribbon , tape, my
creations, magazines...you get the picture!!

What a pity,Sandi,we do not have thanksgiving in Holland. It does sound very nice and cosy. All together eating and enjoying each others company! But we have Sint nicolasday(dec 5th).A very friendly man (releated to father christmas)that gives presents and sweets to all the dear children. When the children are bigger we usually make funny present for each other and have lots of fun drinking hot chocolate and eat 'speculaas'.My mother always starts making that a few days before the actual day. When you smell the aroma of the spices of 'speculaas'you know sinterklaas is on its way!I guess every country has its nice traditions!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy and cherish them as much as you can!
You asked about the little skates on my blog.I do sell them.I have a little webshop(left sidebar on my blog)with several 'with love made'items.Don't know about the cost and all ,I have never sent things to America but I guess it's possible.
Nice to hear from you on my blog.Wishing you a lovely thanksgiving,Anita
Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! We are all so blessed in more ways than we can ever begin to quantify. andrea@townandprairie
