I had the sweater sleeves left over after making the pillow so I also made a wine cozy. {I could have made two , but only made one for now} {or sparking juice cozies whatever you desire} |
This is my second pillow. I left the end open that was originally the bottom of the sweater and then I made three rosette pins and pinned it closed. |
The snow does look pretty, but I am sooooo over it. Way too much this year and way too cold also! ugh! |
This is our main road {3/4 miles from where we live} that is usually heavily traveled. |
SNOW...SNOW...SNOW! |
Tea anyone?? |
My frozen rain chain |
Home sweet home...this was taken before we got even more snow along with huge drifts. |
Love your pillows, Sandi! I tried doing pillows out of sweaters, too, once and found the stretch drove me crazy. Love the cozies out of the sleeves, too. I'm with you ~ I'm done with this snow! I'm desperate for an early Spring.

ReplyDeleteI love your pillows Sandi, I wish I could sew!
ReplyDeleteOh...and I have a better four letter word for you...MELT!!
I, too, am sick sick sick of snow ... Spring cannot come soon enough. And what's with this frigid weather? Dang!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I have a huge crush on that house shaped object in your backyard!!!!
Have a cozy week.

Oh I am feeling cold just looking at your beautiful scenery. Here in Houston we are expecting a storm. Of course nothing like what you have. It is expected to shut down businesses and schools. I don't plan on going to work. Will stay nice and warm in my home. Try to stay warm.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought you would like the world around you all white and lovely. I painted today, a winter scene, I could have used your photo, with your lovely home. What inspiration. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteThat did catch my attention...I had to come see what the four letter word was :) I hear ya! Snow. go away!
ReplyDeleteLove all of your creations Sandi!
You probably think I am crazy but, I want snow, I miss it. We had a tiny bit here last week but that is all. Your pillows are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures, especially with your pretty home and yard of snow
betsy
So many people are so tired of the snow. We haven't gotten a flake! Your pictures are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI will say "No thanks" to the offer of snow. But just to rub things in, I should let you know that we are experiencing unusually high, sunny temperatures this winter. It has been like spring right the way through from fall. Just sayin'
ReplyDeletelol
*Smiles* and Hugs
We're getting plenty of snow here right now, so thank you for your generous offer, LOL! I love your country roads photos - beautiful! And the pillows are cozy-wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAlthough your snow pictures are lovely, I am so over it. Snow, snow, snow. And I LIKE snow. But too much of anything, you know? The cold is even worse than the snow. But... there's a warming trend coming next week so maybe most of this will be gone soon.
