You should have been there ladies!
I definitely hit the mother lode on Thursday!
My mother and I went to the local college rummage
sale that I wait anxiously for every year and did I ever
find the bargains! The first area I hit hard was the

We will start with the non- Christmas items.

It is missing part of the latch, but I don't care.

Before and After Ornaments ~

Remember last week when I was
bone tired
from shopping all day? I took my cousin along with me
(who had just lost her 18 year old son a few weeks ago)

One of our stops was at an antique mall where I found
all these tart tins for $2.00.
I knew right away that I wanted to make
some kind of Christmas ornaments with them.
Before photo ~
I adore the little tiny ones.
Here the tiny ones are after I made them into ornaments. I used antique ledger paper for the inside and then I glass glittered them. I love how they turned out.

Some of these will be finding their way into my Etsy store soon.

Enjoy and blessings~

White Wednesday Makeover ~

I took everything off of my 5 foot long shelf
in the kitchen yesterday and redecorated the
whole thing for fall~
I purchased the jug that has the hydrangeas in it at the flea market down on the corner this summer for $1.00. Love these sparkly pears and old ironstone lid ~
I purchased several of these small white pumpkins at the festival last Saturday. 5/$1.00. Love old bottles, silver and mirrors ~ along with mercury glass candlesticks and old lace~ Loving vintage photographs ~
and
white~

Have a beautiful day today and be inspired by things
that you love and already have. Just move them around
from room to room and make it look totally different
with fresh arrangements ~
Be sure to visit Kathleen at Faded Charm to see more

Rearranging ~

I spent part of my evening last night rearranging some goodies on top of our entertainment center in the living room. Some of these pieces I have used outside, but I love them inside as well. I have a hydrangea bush that I collect flowers off of every fall. They start out in September as a pretty green with a light pink accent and then they dry to a lovely tan color ~ I purchased this angel plaque at the Goodwill some time ago and I also got the lovely antique vase cheap, but I don't remember where ~
I love anything *CHIPPY WHITE* and it fits right in with my decor ~
I am getting adjusted to hubby working 2nd shift , but now I eat more! That can *NOT* be a good thing. I usually just didn't eat lunch during the day, but now that he is home I make lunch for both of us.

The weather is much warmer today , but I think it will be turning cold again. I am ready for it to stay warm and ready for spring . *SPRING* ~ New life, new possibilities, new growth...I am ready...Blessings ~
