Calling my name ~

hubby and i took a drive yesterday

in the blustery, snowy weather.

crazy...i know,

but we did it anyway.

on the way home

just around the corner,

we found an abandoned old farm

and it drew me in...

i trudged up the driveway through the snow

to this beautiful old fence.

when I first caught sight of her

my steps quickened...

i couldn't wait to take her picture ~

then my eyes quickly turned to this

gorgeous old shed

standing there so cold and alone ~

i walked around the side and found more beauty.

how could someone just

leave her here to wither away?

i think she is calling my name ~

i would love to load her up and bring her to my house where she would be so loved ~

but, for the moment...we had to leave her

and head towards

home sweet home.
