Best EVER Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

Have I ever shared this recipe with you before? If I have...sorry, but it is too good not to share again.
You can find the recipe by clicking here and that way
I don't have to type it all up or even copy and paste. If you love chicken and basil...I pinky promise you will
love this recipe!!
It calls for cubed chicken and you most certainly can do
that, but I just use chicken breast because that is me.
I always use chicken breast for everything that calls
for chicken. lol.
I found these pictures that I had taken probably a couple
years ago and it makes me sooo hungry for some right
now. I may need to make it this weekend. As blustery as
it is here in Michigan it would be wonderful!
{I just noticed that the sodium is very high in this recipe.
I think next time I will try low sodium chicken broth...
worth a try anyways.}
ENJOY~

Giveaway winner and a special lunch ~

Hubby did so good today making my lunch.
He wanted to do something special so he went
to the store yesterday while I was decorating at church.

Bertolli mediterranean style rosemary chicken,
linguine and cherry tomatoes...delicious.
He also made french bread with a little melted parmesean on top.
... and sparkling grape juice.

He even set the table with some of my
pretty antique dishes.
He couldn't find our goblets so he just
used our regular glasses,
but it was wonderful and so good! I think I will keep him around for awhile longer :)

The winner of my Valentine giveaway is
*Lady Farmer*
Congratulations and thank you to all
who entered!

Blessings~

Summer Grillin' ~

I love summer if for no other reason than for GRILLING ~
Opps...somehow this one snuck in here and it is
NOT
grilled...but I do love it~
One of my favorite summer go to meals...
Linguini (can use thin spaghetti also), onions, garlic,
tomatoes, basil, parmesean cheese and olive oil
LOVE IT~
Now can I say that my husband is the
BEST GRILLER ever~
He made this wonderful chicken on the grill
(he laid a tinfoil covered brick on top of it to flatten it)
and it was the best I have ever had. So juicy and just perfect~
Summer squash...another fabulous item for grilling. I was never a fan , but I could eat it about every day now... Well maybe not quite , but almost~ Delicious potatoes... My son-in-law made these huge steaks for hubby and himself when we were at their house a few weeks ago . Hubby thought he died and went to heaven! This was my meal at my daughters. Grilled corn on the cob, chicken and cheesy potatoes... So good!

Do you grill out in the summer? Do you have any favorite things you love to grill? Who does the grilling? My husband has always done the grilling here. I have not even attempted it since he has perfected it !

Blessings~
