FINALLY some vintage Christmas creations

I am slowly, but surely getting in the Christmas mood...

I finally found some time to do a little creating. My poor kitchen was a MESS and glitter was
everywhere this past weekend when I was all done!
I wouldn't be surprised if hubby even wore some
to work today! lol. I will say it was fun though.

I made a bunch of spool ornaments and almost
everything on them is vintage.
{except the paint,glue,jingle bells and glitter}

I used vintage tinsel, pages from an old Bible that was
falling apart, vintage songbook pages and vintage
German scrap.

Most have jingle bells hanging from the bottom, but
a few do not. I even used vintage tinsel cord on many
of them.

This flower isn't vintage either, but the rhinestone button
in the center of it is.

Many of these will be headed up to my booth, but I suppose I could be persuaded to sell a few online also if anyone is interested. :)

Have you done any Christmas creating yet? Happy Monday!

White Christmas...

I started collecting these vintage houses and bottlebrush trees just before they became really hot and the prices shot through the roof and I have accumulated quite a stash. As you can see I concentrated on collecting mostly just white houses instead of all the colors. ( I do have a few pink ones as well)

I have some displayed here on my antique buffet, others on a windowsill and a few just sitting here and there with my other pretties. I bought the large mica church shown in the last picture for a song and I just adore it! I think the cheapest house I purchased was for 10 cents at a garage sale...love those bargains! Blessings!
