Class of 2025!

Oui...here we go again. Oh my goodness...I know I rant and rave about dial up internet a lot, but wow!! To load each one of these photos took at least 19 minutes EACH! Well, that gets old very fast so I quit after a few photos. Even when I just let them load and go about working in the house...my patience wears very thin. I still haven't a clue how to start a new paragraph on this mac so this will be all run together. Sorry. :( The little sweetie above is our little granddaughter Annika who graduated from kindergarten this past Tuesday evening..she will graduate high school in the year 2025! That seems like forever away, but we all know how fast the years fly so it will be here before we know it.

Here Annika is with her teacher...that silly hat was made out of cardboard and paper and just did not want to stay on her head. Not even for pictures.

Well , okay we sorta got it to stay for a very short while, but if she moved at all, it just fell right off. lol Here she is with her mommy. I had one of her daddy also and a family picture that I wanted to add, but nope...takes just too long.

Her sister Ainsley had to be in the photo as well. Notice her feet...oh yes and the can of drink. Too funny! Seems like Annika just started kindergarten and here we are at the end of the year already...we are enjoying the little moments and making memories. She is in Tball and she has her first game this week. I intend to be there!! :)  Enjoy the week and the wonderful life that God has blessed us with and cherish each and every moment...you are alive... so LIVE!! :)

Family life with the grands

We have a busy family life these days and I haven't shared for awhile so wanted to do that.
Our beautiful little ballerina Keira had her first recital and we were not able to attend. I was so
bummed! :( Hubby got a different job a few weeks ago with different hours and it just didn't
work out. I can't wait until we get to see the video of her performance. She is so tiny and
dainty and such a beautiful little ballerina.

Five year old granddaughter Annika graduated from preschool last Thursday evening.
I didn't even know they had preschool graduations. I can't believe she
will be in kindergarten this fall! Where in the world has the time gone??

Always on the move...

Always the spunky gal!  She twirls and whirls and just can't stand still most of the time! ha!

Hope you enjoyed playing catch up with me today along with three of our grandchildren.
We adore all seven of them and are so fortunate to be part of their everyday lives.
Some not as much as we would like since they live hours away, but thank God
for phones, internet and transportation!!

My Beautiful Niece LaShawn...Happy Graduation!

"What lies behind me and what lies before me are tiny matters compared to Who lives within me".

Have you ever seen a prettier face or smile? This is my beautiful niece LaShawn, my brothers oldest daughter. She graduated from high school today and I just can't believe she is all grown up! It seems like just yesterday that she was a tiny babe in arms and my how the years have flown. We wish nothing but the best for her in the future.

A little back story ...I graduated in 1977 from a small christian school that our church had started. As the years passed the school had fewer and fewer students and I think it was even closed for awhile.

Then a *NEW PASTOR* came to town a few years ago and things have never been the same at the church I grew up in. He is young, has a vision for young people and the church that I grew up in has really taken off and grown by leaps and bounds. They built a brand new school beside the church and today my neice was the *FIRST* graduate since it opened last fall. She was the only senior, but it was a monumental moment. The commencement address was given by a representative from the 58th district of Michigan . Pretty special graduation for a very special niece! LaShawn we love you so much and wish God's blessing on your life. You will always have a special place in my heart~
