Gifts for the New Year

I wanted to start out the first White Wednesday post of the New year by sharing some goodies that I won a month or two ago in blog giveaways. I won this dreamcatcher from Ozma of Odds. I hung it beside my bed on the closet curtain rod. {Yes I have curtains instead of doors on my closet} When we moved into this house in 1982 it had no doors and still has none. That is progress huh? lol. Hubby wants to move our bedroom upstairs and gut this room and start over, but I just don't know if I have it in me to start this project. Sounds like a lot of work to me.  :)

Don't you think it goes well with my DREAM glitter banner that hangs on a large mirror over our bed?

Rosemary added many little details to this beauty.  Much prettier than any dream catcher that I have ever seen.

Feathers, lace, ribbon, wire, beads...wonderful.
I have shown this lavender sachet before, but just had to include it because I still love it!

D.R.E.A.M.E.R.

Thank you so much Rosemary!! You do beautiful work and I am blessed to own a few pieces.
I also won this cute white stepstool from Circle Creek Home. They make three different styles and this is the one I chose. Are you surprised that I wanted it in WHITE? :)
I still have not removed the tags that were tied on it when it arrived. My granddaughter Annika used the stool a few days ago so she could get up to the sink in the bathroom to wash her hands.  It is going to be very useful. Thank you Circle Creek Home!

Joining up with Kathleen today for the first White Wednesday of the New Year!! Can't wait to see what this year has in store. I just listened to the author of One Thousand Gifts on our christian radio station...I want to work on a gratitude journal this year...how about you? What plans do you have?

{curtains are actually Simply Shabby Chic shower curtains from Target in gray and white...love them! Sorry the photos aren't brighter. The lighting here is not good at all in the winter. I should have lightened them up for you}

Pretty paper ♪♫♪...pretty ribbons of...♫♪♫...and a WINNER!

...♪♫♪...BLUE...ooo...♫♪♫♪..wrap your presents...♪♫♪

Wait a minute...stop the presses!
...no blue ribbon around here this year!
Just beautiful gray and silver.

I received my goodies that I won from Ozma of Odds and I was over the moon just viewing the packaging.
Seriously...I didn't even open them up until the next day because I just wanted to stare at them for awhile! So beautiful and so Rosemary!!

She didn't miss one little detail from the silver ribbon to the tags, fabric flower and book cover.
Every little detail was perfect.

I know that I have told you before that I am a *detail* girl.
I so appreciate all the little details in life and I just ooed and ahhed over the detail on my giftwrapping.

What a gorgeous tag on the package that my dream catcher was in!!
{I will get to that one of these days, but this post is just about the wrapping..hee hee}

I also can't help but think how much more gorgeous these photos would be with Rosemary's addition of white flourishes etc. I just love her blog and her extra touches on her photos, but I haven't a clue how to do that. Well , I kinda do know how it is done, but ME actually doing it...now that is another story.

Thank you so much Rosemary!! You made my day, I mean week, oops, I really meant month,
okay ,okay you made my YEAR!

Linking up with Faded Charm today as I do for every White Wednesday celebration.

...and now for the winner of my giveaway....
drum roll pleaseeeee.......

*FLEURCOTTAGE*
Congratulations to Esther! I will send out your goodies as soon as I receive your mailing addy.

Vintage seltzer bottle, old books and a clock

I can't believe that White Wednesday is here again already.
The days just seem to fly by anymore and I am getting
farther and farther behind. ugh.

Scrambling for some white photos I took a few pictures
today of some goodies I recently acquired.
This vintage alarm clock is one of them.
Isn't she a beauty? $3.00 at the lake sales...the
day before they officially started, but a few of the
sales were open early. Lucky me!

I recently purchased some more of Rosemary's
tags over at Ozma of Odds. I just love her style and
anything she makes is gorgeous! This time I purchased
some bell jar tags and I love them!

This is another gorgeous tag by Rosemary.

Several weeks ago I went to an antique store that I had not been to before and found a few neat vintage books and the price was amazing as well. Love the photos on the front.

{sorry the photos aren't better, but the lighting was not good at all today}

Another one of my recent finds. A vintage seltzer bottle for $4.95! Can you believe it? I passed it up the first time, but just couldn't do it the second time I was there. It even has a *S* on it so it was meant to be. :) {Made in Germany as well}

More books I found and another Rosemary tag. Do you see a theme running here?? lol.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my recent finds.
Now stroll on over to Faded Charm and find more
wonderful White Wednesday posts.

PS. I cleaned out my booth on Monday of all days , but
it was the day that hubby could help. Be looking for
some of my things on Etsy soon. I gotta get this stuff
outta here! :)

Blessings~

Pure Gorgeousness (is that a word?? )

Sharing some *gorgeousness* with you today for
White Wednesday.

I purchased these beautiful tags from Ozma of Odds
and I think they are gorgeous.

She sure pays attention to detail. They have a glittery
glimmer on them, but the photos didn't pick that up
very well.

I also purchased this lace butterfly from her.
Can you see the wording on the banner?
*butterfly for Japan*

All her proceeds from these beauties go for Japan
relief. What a neat idea!

{don't look too close at the writing on the postcard
because it says Merry Christmas...lol.}

a favorite mirror again with my favorite
candle of the moment

I purchased this pin/hair clip at Kohls.
Don't know if I will use it for it's intended purpose,
but loved it.

Happy White Wednesday to each and every one of you.
Unfortunately I will not be able to check out very many
of your blogs tomorrow due to other responsibility, but
hopefully I can another day.

Blessings~

Surprises by snail mail

I ordered something a while back from Petite Michelle Louise
and just look how cute she packaged it up. I didn't open it
for a day or two because I just loved looking at the adorable
petite package! I am kinda strange I know! lol
Thank you Michelle!

Just beautiful!

I was very surprised to open my mailbox a few weeks
ago and find a package from Lady Pamela.
She is sooo sweet to me!

She included this beautiful sachet that she made,

... along with this vintage book for me to read to
my grandchildren. I was blown away by her
thoughtfulness. This book has the most adorable
pictures, but I forgot to add them to this post.
Thank you Pamela!!

Then I had entered a giveaway over at Ozma of Odds
and I was one of the winners. It came packaged up
all pretty like this.

This was what I won...I snatched the picture from
her blog so I hope she doesn't mind. Thank you Rosemary!!

Happy Tuesday everyone ! I am doing much of nothing today. Just kinda hanging out with granddaughter. My kind of day! :)
Blessings~
