Day of Antiquing ~

I spent the day today in Allen, Michigan and had a fun time. I just love to browse others treasures and see what goodies have arrived since my last visit. They have at least 5 antique malls (two are huge!) and it takes me all day to get through them. Needless to say with all the *STUFF* that I saw I didn't find much at all to bring home with me. I did find a few vintage hankies and one other trinket, but that is all. Oh don't get me wrong...lot's of pretties, but none that I needed...I need to get back in the swing of things tomorrow. Blessings~

More Christmas Creation

I made a few more of these hang tag/Christmas ornaments this past week and have finally listed a few in my Etsy store. I just love antique victorian images and love to decorate with them. I tend to make several of the same type of item when I create so I have several of these tags made and I thoroughly enjoyed making them. Each one is embellished with German glass glitter, seam binding ribbon, vintage lace and a tiny jingle bell. Enjoy!

Victorian Christmas Ornament

I wish my camera had better close up features because you can't really tell how cute this tag is. I created this today using a free image from Dawn over at The Feathered Nest (http://the-feathered-nest.blogspot.com/) and I thought it turned out so cute. I can see several of these on a tree decorated in vintage style. You probably can't tell from the pictures, but there is glass glitter on part of this tag and it just sparkles. I also used a vintage Merry Christmas out of an old Christmas card. I will be listing this in my Etsy store and will be making more with different images. Have a blessed day!
