Anticipation and Relaxation ~

Hubby and I are going to enjoy a weekend with my daughter and her family and I can't wait. Daughter, granddaughter and I will go to an Afternoon Victorian Tea at the Holly Hotel on Saturday from 2-5 pm.

"Three elegant courses are served on antique china and steaming hot imported tea is served in fancy silver and ceramic pots. First course is served warm, consisting of English-style scones and muffins with Devonshire cream and flavored butters. Second course arrives in minutes with petite tea sandwiches, quiches and canapes. Third course is a *sweets* course of fruit, pastries, cakes or tortes. Our pastry chef arrives early each morning to bake for tea and select starched white linens and fresh flowers for each table."

Looking so forward to getting out one of my pretty outfits and getting all dressed up for this special occasion.
I am posting a few photos from around my home today. The first photo is of a round picture frame that I purchased at the Goodwill store a while ago and I added an old photograph. I also have a smaller frame exactly like this larger one...love them ~
Wishing you all a blessed weekend. I may not be posting again until Sunday or Monday since I will be out playing. We are going to Home Goods on the way up (and maybe on the way back too...LOL) I would also like to go to the Michaels store and I am sure we will hit some thrift stores as well. I am filled with anticipation...
Blessings~

House Blessings ~

May You Be Blessed

Whether you come in to visit
or just to rest
When you enter our home
may you be blessed.

I love pretty books and this one is no exception. I was drawn to it the moment I saw it a few months ago. It is a small book full of prayers, poems, and toasts celebrating home and family ~
In these turbulent economic times when things are so uncertain we need to remember the things that matter most...our family, our friends and our Heavenly Father who loves us so very much ~ Take some time to celebrate your family and home today. Blessings ~
