God's Amazing Creation

We spent most of yesterday with our son's and their
families at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo in Indiana.
It is one of the top 10 zoo's in the nation and it was
easy to see why. We saw many amazing animals
in the Australian Adventure, The Indonesian Rain
Forest and the African Journey.

Here are some great white pelicans that I thought
were gorgeous!

Always fun to see zebras up close and personal.

This little baby giraffe stole my heart! He is so tiny
compared to his mommy and daddy and posed
just perfect for the camera!

We climbed a 14 foot platform to see these huge giraffe's.
You could even feed them if you wanted to.

Here is an animal not common to the zoo...lol!! This is my youngest son in the African Journey
exhibit waving through a hole in the rock.

These little black footed penguins were adorable! I have never seen any so small.

Waving for the camera...

We saw a lot of mist in the Indonesian rain forest.

Now here are a couple of little monkeys...or should I
say "Joeys" in mama Kangaroo's pouch? Sweet granddaughter's Annika and Keira having
so much fun.

Spotted hyena taking a siesta.

Hubby and I were in this sky safari ride behind my
son and family so I got this shot of them
coming around the bend. This was too high for me! Had I realized how high
it was I probably would not have gone on it. I do not like heights.

Aren't these nests cool? I don't remember
what bird makes them.

This peacock strutted all over outside the zoo.
I was hoping it would spread it's tail feathers,
but it never did.

Spotted hyena taking a dip.

This is just a sampling of our wonderful day out
at the zoo. We hadn't been there in years, and
we had such a fun time.

Happy Sunday! Blessings~
