She is so precious and so beautiful!

Big sister Annika loves her so much!

We had to recreate this picture after we saw Annika kiss
her sister. So sweet!

Miss Annika having fun.
She was with us at the hospital all day and was a
very good girl!!

This grandma is tired and I am going to bed now.

Sweet dreams...

Someone new...

... is on her way!! I will let you know when she arrives! {I will be taking this cute little hat with me to the hospital for her}
O Happy day! Blessings~

Family times are for making memories

Had a fun filled weekend with the grandchildren and our children. It was very nice because we are rarely
all able to be together at the same time anymore.
Keira turned three a couple weeks ago so we
celebrated her birthday. Better late than never!

These two have so much fun together. Cousins Annika and Keira.
Keira is wearing a cute little apron that was
one of her birthday gifts.

Love how Colette fixed Annika's hair!

I don't think I would have ever gotten my three year old daughter to sit still long enough to fix her hair like this. Just beautiful!

What little child doesn't like playing in the leaves?

Try as hard as we could we didn't get all the kids
together for a picture. Keira (the birthday girl in white)
did not want to have her picture taken and when she
finally decided it was okay then baby Kanaan didn't
want to be in the picture! lol.

Fun playing in the leaves

Oldest son and family stayed with us and we took a
walk Sunday over to the park at the lake and the
children played on the slide, merry go round,
teeter totter and swings.

It was a beautiful day!

Little miss birthday girl Keira

Sober little Kanaan. He is too sweet!

Swing me higher daddy!

Very nice weekend, but now I need a longgggggg nap! Happy Monday everyone! Blessings~

God's Amazing Creation

We spent most of yesterday with our son's and their
families at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo in Indiana.
It is one of the top 10 zoo's in the nation and it was
easy to see why. We saw many amazing animals
in the Australian Adventure, The Indonesian Rain
Forest and the African Journey.

Here are some great white pelicans that I thought
were gorgeous!

Always fun to see zebras up close and personal.

This little baby giraffe stole my heart! He is so tiny
compared to his mommy and daddy and posed
just perfect for the camera!

We climbed a 14 foot platform to see these huge giraffe's.
You could even feed them if you wanted to.

Here is an animal not common to the zoo...lol!! This is my youngest son in the African Journey
exhibit waving through a hole in the rock.

These little black footed penguins were adorable! I have never seen any so small.

Waving for the camera...

We saw a lot of mist in the Indonesian rain forest.

Now here are a couple of little monkeys...or should I
say "Joeys" in mama Kangaroo's pouch? Sweet granddaughter's Annika and Keira having
so much fun.

Spotted hyena taking a siesta.

Hubby and I were in this sky safari ride behind my
son and family so I got this shot of them
coming around the bend. This was too high for me! Had I realized how high
it was I probably would not have gone on it. I do not like heights.

Aren't these nests cool? I don't remember
what bird makes them.

This peacock strutted all over outside the zoo.
I was hoping it would spread it's tail feathers,
but it never did.

Spotted hyena taking a dip.

This is just a sampling of our wonderful day out
at the zoo. We hadn't been there in years, and
we had such a fun time.

Happy Sunday! Blessings~

They just had family pictures taken

I think it is gorgeous.
