Disneyworld Vacation!

...although sadly...not MY vacation. lol.

My daughter and her family just got home from
spending a week in Florida and while they were
there they went to Disneyworld.

This is the resort where they stayed for FREE
courtesy of some family members time share. It looks gorgeous!

My daughter and grandchildren up in the air!
I asked her why she didn't lean over the side and
wave and her reply was , "No thanks!"...ha!
{She is like her mother and does not like heights}

The Cinderella castle, son-in-law and
two grands.

Must be the castle needs some work? Just like my house! :)

Once again...daughter, granddaughter and grandson
in the spinning teacup. So cute!

My sweetie granddaughter Allysha growling at
the colonel.

While they were on a boat they took a picture of
this boat passing by. I told her she should have thrown
her camera to someone on the other boat so their picture
could be taken. They thought that would be fine IF they
were using MY camera. lol. I thought better of that
suggestion right away.

I have not seen all her pictures because they took over 600,
but I wanted to share a sample with you. I am so glad they
were able to go. They needed to get away and they had
a wonderful time even driving all the way from Michigan
down to Florida with three children in the car.

Happy weekend! I am dreaming of warmer weather...
Blessings~

Every once in awhile...

...I have to share new pictures of my grandkiddos with you.

Sweet Annika at 3 years old...almost 4.

Baby Ainsley looks like she is smiling.
I had a great time with her and Annika for a few
days this week. My son goes back to work next week
so I am back to the grindstone too. lol.

Isn't she just the cutest??

The love of a family is life's greatest blessing.

My oldest son's little ones. Keira is three years old and Kanaan is only nine months. He took several steps a few days ago. He is going to be moving fast real soon. No stopping him now! He is a little chunk and they call him *the monster*, but it is all done in fun because we love him to death!

My oldest son Jason with Kanaan. I forgot the whole family picture so I will have to share that another time. My son is so in love with his kids and you can tell it every time we are together. Thank God for loving and caring fathers!

{I have to say this too...one of the sweetest moments with Jason was right after he got married in 2003 and they were hugging us just after they pronounced them man and wife. He whispered in my ear , "I am married mom!" Such a sweet and precious moment.}

Beautiful baby Ainsley once again.

*Whatever they grow up to be , they are still
our children, and the one most important of all the
things we can give them is unconditional love.
Not a love that depends on anything at all except
that they are our children.*

I will leave you with one more quote:

One of life's greatest mysteries is how the
boy who wasn't good enough to marry your
daughter, can be the father of the smartest
grandchildren in the world!

Happy Weekend ahead and enjoy your families!

A snowy white Wednesday

Wednesday snuck up on me yet again this week.
I didn't even realize it until I was going through my
blogroll and saw Kathleen's post. Argh! I need to
get better organized here!

Isn't this candleholder amazing? The story for this
is that I found the top of it {the scrolly part} at the
Goodwill, but it didn't have the bottom part
with it and it was not priced so I did not bring it home.
I went to an antique mall a week or so later and found
the whole thing. I know it was the same one because
the *dirt* was on it exactly like it was when I saw
it at the Goodwill. lol.

I am trying to redo my decor after taking down all my Christmas, but it is going very slowly.

We were dumped on last night with fluffy white
snow so I stepped outside to take a few photos
just for you.

Snow...snow beautiful snow.
{when I don't have to drive in it}
I will be cuddling with my granddaughters again
today...I know... such a hard job , but someone
has to do it. :)
Happy WW everyone.
Be sure and check out Faded Charm for more!
Blessings~

Oops I did it again!

Now I suppose all your ladies are always so put
together and would make me look like a fashion
disaster, but I thought I had it all together today.
Really I did.

I put on my cute ruffled gray shirt...
...added a shorter black sweater with a small ruffle
at the neckline and a pretty gray and black scarf.

Got my make up all on this time...
combed my hair and plopped in my earrings.
I thought I was good to go.

{don't laugh...I have headed out twice lately and
one time forgot my mascara and the other time
my foundation! How in the world that happened
I will never know!}
Topped it off with this jacket... { I did have pants and shoes from Kohl's on as well...
don't want you to get the wrong idea here. lol.}

...and off I went to town.
Cashed in my change at the bank
{$105 worth...yay} and then stopped at the Goodwill.

Got everything done and came back home. I took out my
earrings because they were bugging me and lo and behold
I had TWO different earrings on. Oh my...I fear this is a sign of
things to come as I get older. At least they were
similiar, but different sizes.
So how is your day going?? Hugs~

Old books...do you actually read them?

I wanted to share a few of my new acquisitions with you
before I help watch Ainsley and Annika.
Her mommy starts back to college today and my son is
unemployed for a few weeks so I told him I would help.
Yay!! Don't have to ask me twice! :)

I found all these books at a little store that I frequent
often and they were still in the box at the counter.
People were digging through it and when it came my
turn it did not take me long to scoop up these oldies
with the beautiful covers....which got me to thinking...
do you actually read the old books you purchase or do
you just display them?

I think I would love to read them or at least some of
them if I could find the time.

Love this title: Fussbudget's Folks Now that title intriques me.

This book is titled *Among the Trees*...
so neat.

Happy, happy Monday to my bloggy friends. May
your day be blessed!
