April 1

I rarely post two in one day , but just had to share this...

Can you believe this little cutie pie? I just nabbed this
off of my son's facebook page.

He also posted how he hadn't been feeling well and so
his wife and sister took the kids out on a playdate and
he took some medicine to knock him out and went to bed.

He told his wife he would leave the door
unlocked so they didn't need their keys.
He woke up 15 minutes later to a loud crash and
his huge HDTV was laying broken on the floor.

Said the only thing he can figure is that someone
tried to take it off the wall and dropped it because
it was so heavy. So far his inventory shows his 360 and
blue ray player also missing. Luckily the iMac was
upstairs and they must not have went up there.
He doesn't think the shock has set in yet, and doesn't know
what Liss will say when she gets home.

Many caring people commented telling him
they are so sorry and hope it all works out and that
maybe his home owners insurance will cover it etc. etc.

Then someone eluded to what day this is.
He is a stinker!!
He had me hook , line and sinker and I was
ready to make a phone call... until I read
the incriminating comments.

Glad he had a little fun on this crazy day!! Blessings~

Stones ~

What little child doesn't love to play with
STONES...
My little granddaughter sure does ~
She collects them... carries them... And drops them into the basket over and over... getting pure delight out of the simple things in life. I want to be more like her~

This is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it~

Blessings today to each of you~

Individuality ~

Oh my goodness...I don't know what I did but as soon as I got these pictures uploaded the page went away and it said "your post has published sucessfully"...before I even wrote anything! Thank God for edit programs! LOL

I am so tired right now from digging out and getting ready for a garage sale that I just wanted to take a break and share my childrens individuality.

I received the following cards for Mothers day and this first one is from my oldest son Jason(and family)...middle child and it fits him to a *T*. On the front it says, Mom , I know at times I'm difficult and stubborn...(and on the inside) ...Fortunately I am cute enough to make up for it". What a hoot and so true...this is my child who lives for a good debate! You better be up on what you are debating or forget about it. Sometimes I just don't bother. And we know he loves us , but he is just not one to go all ga ga and demonstrate it much. He is my "go to" guy when I need support and prayer... He is a steadfast rock when our family is in distress. Thank you Jason!
I received this next beautiful card from my youngest son Nathan (youngest child too) . He always picks out such thoughtful and caring cards and always gives hugs and kisses . He brought me a beautiful lavender/purple petunia hanging basket and spent the afternoon with us. Later when he went out to his truck he came back in with a handful of withered flowers and said, "oh mom I feel so bad"...he had stopped along a road somewhere and picked me some lilacs and other flowers and totally forgot he had them in his truck . I put them in water anyways and the smell is wonderful. Now Jason would never think of doing something like that , but it is what makes each one a true individual just as God made them and they are my wonderful boys~ I couldn't leave out my daughter and the card she sent along. On the inside it says, "...and the world should bloom in your honor". My only daughter...oldest child...child that gave us the most grief and heartache , but she got back on the right track with Gods help and is a loving Christian, mother and wife. She is so tenderhearted...she cries so easily and that is a wonderful thing. I remember a time when she was cold as ice. Looking into her eyes they were just blank. God works miracles and she is living proof. I could go on and on, but I just thank God every day for my children and how special they all are to me~ Okay...I think I am refreshed now so I can get on to digging out more things for the sale. I really am craving chocolate today too. I about tore the house apart looking for some and thankfully I did find a DOVE candy bar! LOL Enjoy your blessings today~

My Oldest Son...Jason ~

I want to introduce you to my oldest son Jason today. This is one of my favorite pictures of him that was taken a few years ago. He is now 27 years old , married and has a precious baby girl ~ Jason graduated from Huntington College in Indiana with a degree in graphic design. This poster is one that he made while he was in college. The adorable little girl in the picture is our 1st grandchild who was living with us at the time. (she is now almost 10 years old...where do the years go )
Jason also had several of his photographs published in the Christian magazine *Discipleship Journal* published by NavPress in his senior year of college.
One photo Jason had published in the magazine ~
This was printed on one of the first pages of the magazine ~
I love this photo he took of bike tires and rocks. I will never forget what my dad said when he saw the picture for the first time..."He missed the bicycles...only the tires and rocks??? "...LOL Too funny!
Jason now works at Huntington College in their computer department. I always forget his official title , but I do know that he troubleshoots a lot of computer issues. He has also designed several websites. A few of them are The Kimmel House Inn B and B, NAACP, (North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals), Baumann and Scott Photography along with others. (If you check out the photography site and click on "pregnancy" you will see a photo of Jason's wife when she was expecting their precious little Keira) We love him and his family so much and wish Gods blessing on them always!
