Wednesday I made a quick trip up to my booth and
before I left I whipped up a few of these
vintage hanky vases.
I saw this idea in Somerset Life magazine although
they added handles to theirs and I didn't.
They were fun and easy to make.
{for most of mine I used the jelly jar size}
and fold a hanky the size to cover the jar completely.
Next iron the folds, then wrap the hanky
around the jar, secure it with a rubber band
and tie a ribbon on top of the rubberband.
I could see these being made with vintage jars
and all kinds of embellishments,
but as usual I was in a hurry so just whipped up
some very simple ones.

I love that idea. I have some really pretty vintage hankies in a box.. Now they can have a new use. and what i like about this is you can just take them off, no damage done. Thanks Sheila
The hankie candle holders are sweet...
What a cute idea. This is my level of crafts. I have some old hankies that have a couple of little issues, but they'd be perfect for this project.

So simple and yet so beautiful! I've given away hankies lately in gift baskets because I didn't know what else to do with them. Wish I had them back now. I will definitely be on the look out for me. Many blessings for a bright and beautiful day. :) Tammy
