White gauze and roses

All I can say today is that I agree with June .
I am loving making these rosettes!

A few nights ago I grabbed a piece of
white gauze fabric
from my stash and sat down with hubby to watch tv.
I started ripping strips, sewing them into rosettes
and adding vintage buttons.

I will just make one more.

okay, maybe two at the most.

...three...four...five...

I had so much fun I just couldn't stop.

I guess this could be a *good* addiction.

Aren't they so pretty?

Before I knew it I had a bowl full of these
little goodies. I think I may just leave them
as is to display for now.

Enjoy your White Wednesday and please visit Kathleen at Faded Charm for more WW posts~ Blessings~

Absolutely gorgeous, I planned to make white cotton flowers out of a vintage cotton sheet on a road trip this weekend, but alas I am not a good traveller. Soon! Neat idea to use the gauze.

Oh I love 'em Sandi. Yes they are so addicting. Last night I sat with hubs and made some while we watched Tv. He can't believe that I can do two things at once. He's always saying 'how can you keep up with the show when you are reading a magazine (or making rosettes)'. I think it's because we are used to watching children, while making dinner, while talking on the phone, while making rosettes. lol

I love how lovely your rosettes look sitting in that pretty bowl.

Beautiful! And if they are easy to make, why not make more? The more the merrier. Many blessings, Tammy
