Miss Kim Korean Lilacs

I am playing with lilacs today and I just love this variety.

It is called : Miss Kim Korean Lilac.
She blooms later than other lilacs and is a lacey type that is just gorgeous.

I love this container with three metal pockets and chalkboard on the front.

I will be redoing the chalkboard paint soon becasue the bottom pocket is looking bad.

Do any of you grow these? I would love to hear about yours.
They smell fantastic and it is perfect when we step outside the back door.
The perfume from these just fills the air with a wonderful scent.

If you want to look them up here is a link and here is one.
You can also google it and find more sites. This is supposed to be a dwarf,
but it isn't dwarf here. We have good ole' black Michigan soil and it is
wonderful!

I wish you could smell these...happy Wednesday!!
Blessings~

I have never heard of Miss Kim Lilacs. They are lovely. My sister just gave me two lilac bushes which I planted near my back door. Can't wait until they are a little larger and will bloom!

I've been wanting a fragrant lilac that blooms late, thanks for the info.

These are beautiful. I'm not familiar with all the lilac variations but this one looks to be a treasure.

They are so pretty. I do not know much about lilacs. Our climate is too dry to grow them in our garden. And now with the drought, everything is struggling to thrive.

Between you and the rich Michigan soil, you sure have some beautiful flowers. I can almost smell the wonderful aroma of the lilacs. I miss those, wild violets, lily of the valley and peonies. Everything's big in Texas, but we don't have those flowers like I had up in Ohio. Oh well ... we can't have everything, can we?

Enjoy them for me, please!
