Mourning our beautiful granddaughter Eden Rain

On Saturday May 21, 2016 our beautiful granddaughter was stillborn.

She never took one breath and we never got to hear her cry or see her open her beautiful little eyes.

It has rocked us to the core and it is something that no family should ever have to go through.

Labor was progressing fine and then something went horribly wrong.

You have never known such heartbreaking sorrow until you watch a mommy and daddy bathe their
 lifeless little daughter and handle her with such tender loving care.

The funeral was today...we shed many tears and we cried as we watched her mommy and daddy
carry her tiny little casket down the steps and out into their own SUV...

the only time she will ride with them as a family.

Mommy and daddy named her

EDEN RAIN BOOTHMAN

Please pray for all of us in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

We will never be the same.

She's Here!!

Our 9th grandbaby is here!!! Straight from God's heart to ours!!

We made the trip out to Indiana on the Sunday after she was born to hold and snuggle this
newest little member of our family. She is so, so precious!!

Her siblings Keira and Kanaan think she is pretty nice also.

She is just a beautiful little treasure straight from heaven.  Oh how much God loves us
to bless us over and over again!

She is just a teeny little one and so perfect!

Here is yours truly...I am always looking at something. ha!!
Just wanted to share the joy with you!

Ladies...I got nothin'...

...nada...zilch. I am running out of pretty pictures
to show you and things to blog about so I guess I need
to get my thinking cap on and start snapping photos.

Although...I did find this gorgeous picture below
of my beautiful sleeping granddaughter Ainsley.
{in her car seat}
She certainly is NOT nothing...she is definitely
something!

Isn't she so sweet? Reminds me of her daddy when
he was that age. Don't you just love the little ears
on her outfit? Cute!

One more thing... in case you all were wondering how to
find that popcorn that I blogged about a few days ago...
this is what the packages look like.

I had never had this cinnamon sugar before {but I literally inhaled the black and white drizzled}
I went to Walmart the other day and this is ALL they
had. No black and white and ONE bag of this so
I thought *oh why not*...now another kind I am
hooked on. lol

{and yes for those of you who asked it is
calorie free...well it may have a few of those
mean little calories, but worth every bite
I promise}

Now a chuckle for your day: A couple days ago I found a Reeses peanut butter
cup in my cupboard and I unwrapped it,
promptly threw away the candy and started to
eat the wrapper! I think I am losing it! hee hee Hoping you have a great Friday. I went on a
marathon shopping spree with my mom yesterday
and although I really didn't buy much, I am
exhausted so today is for resting I guess...
and maybe some creating.
Blessings~

My Annika fix...

I got my Annika {GD} fix last Friday afternoon.
She was with me from 4 pm until after midnight
and we sure crammed a lot into a few hours.

pure innocence
You should have seen her little black boots.
They were too cute!
She is definitely my little *fashionista*.

I was snapping photos like crazy.
You know you have to take a bazillion pictures
to get a few that are great!

maybe a little attitude showing here??

"I can't write my name"

our little *lefty*
{does she look 3 years old to you??}

all tuckered out. ME TOO!!

Blessings...enjoy the day!

Some granddaughter lovin'

...children are a heritage of the Lord
Psalm 127:3

We went to our youngest son's house yesterday
to celebrate hubby's birthday and
we had a wonderful time.

While we were there I told Annika I wanted to take
her picture and she immediately fell down
on the floor and posed like this!!!
Can you believe it??
She is a little ham and we love her to pieces!
{my son on the other hand said, "oh no, the
paparazzi are here again"}

Don't you just love her little pink *tutu* sticking
out underneath her dress?

I took this picture some time ago of her hiding
behind a chair. Wish I could remember why
she was hiding.lol.

I snapped this photo when we were at a parade this
summer. She is only three years old!! She is growing up so fast though...three going on
thirteen. :)

Have a blessed Sunday ~
