Paris, France, finds etc.

et cetera

definition:
*and other things*
or
*and so forth*

These days I love anything french.
I suppose part of that has to do
with a lot of the magazines laying around at my
house with their beautiful french decor that
fills page after page...

also all the gorgeous french style blogs...

and most definitely the romantic
french language...etc.

I would love to learn the french language...

I want to wake up some morning and start
babbling to my hubby in french. It would be
a most interesting way to start a day. lol.

I entered a lovely french giveaway a few weeks
ago over at
You had to guess who the person was in a
picture that Rhonda had posted. {it was her mother}
She made everyone who guessed right one of these tiny
french style pillows
This is the design I chose and
I love it.

She sent it wrapped in sheet music with a beautiful Marie tag.

still loving it...

Three candles that are hanging around at my house... This one has a fleur-de-lis on the charm.
I found this vintage wooden clock face several
weeks ago while antiquing
isn't it so pretty?
I love the scroll designs on the corners.

My little piece of Paris here in Michigan.
I really doubt I will ever get to see it in person,
but I am content to add little pieces to my decor
and pretend I am there even if only for a moment.

I don't think I could handle the jet lag
and planes and me do not get along.lol.

Happy days to you dreaming of France, Paris,
Italy and any other place you want to go...

Blessings~

White gauze and roses

All I can say today is that I agree with June .
I am loving making these rosettes!

A few nights ago I grabbed a piece of
white gauze fabric
from my stash and sat down with hubby to watch tv.
I started ripping strips, sewing them into rosettes
and adding vintage buttons.

I will just make one more.

okay, maybe two at the most.

...three...four...five...

I had so much fun I just couldn't stop.

I guess this could be a *good* addiction.

Aren't they so pretty?

Before I knew it I had a bowl full of these
little goodies. I think I may just leave them
as is to display for now.

Enjoy your White Wednesday and please visit Kathleen at Faded Charm for more WW posts~ Blessings~
