The Good, the Bad and the UGLY ~

Just had to start with

the good

I sent off some of my own french ribbon

to Erica at Meadowstreet

and I will be receiving these gorgeous roses any day now. I may even be persuaded to give one away

if you beg and plead...lol~

the bad and the ugly~

I start my creations in this room,

plenty of space to create in

chaotic and messy today ~ I didn't even shut the drawer after opening it... how sad is that ~

then somehow I migrate to this table

{in the dining room}

and then on to this table

{in the kitchen}

I think I have an incurable disease

it is called

UTTER CHAOS~

Try as I might I cannot seem to keep everything in

one room.

Seriously...I need to work on that.

I did get this chaos all cleaned up after the pix...

we will see how long that lasts.

Does anyone else have this problem...

please tell me that

it isn't just me ~

White Wednesday, Mason Jars & Marshmallows ~

Call this a

marshmallow wednesday

doesn't that have a neat ring to it...

I thought about my teeny tiny marshmallows

and knew I just had to post them today~ I am also loving anything silver these days with that wonderful aged patina~ I know, I know ridiculous to have so many photos of the same thing, but I just couldn't stop ~

I was also playing around one day with part of an

old bodice with lace attached that had

seen better days.

I made a snip or two and then glued it around

this pint size

mason jar~

Then I added some of the old crocheted lace trim at the top, along with some seam binding ribbon and wa la

a candleholder was born. I thought I might make some of these

to put in my Etsy shop,

but just haven't had the time yet.

Candlelight ~

I love candlelight.

I don't light this candleholder near

as often as I would like, but I love it .

Thankful for His light and His salvation today.

Little Red Riding Hood ~

We went trick or treating with my son and his family

last night

and

little red riding hood

was in a bit of a mood before we left~

{she did not get enough sleep at naptime} but, she finally did perk up and was ready to go walking around town ~ {notice her teeny tiny braids!} don't you just love her outfit and even her basket ? adorable {the hood was attached to a red cape, but it was just too cold not to wear the black coat over it } along with the cold, it was also windy and her hood kept falling off~

her little nose was getting about as red as her outfit

brrr ~

each time that she received another treat she would

take it out of her basket , look at me and say, "mom, look I got chocolate" or

"mom , look I got cheetos etc...

she was so happy

pure. innocent. joy. ~

sweet

eventually got very tired,

and with her basket full of treats

it was time to walk home...
