Tuscany, Here I Come !

I think I will hop a plane and fly off to the Tuscan villa today and

just take life easy for awhile.

Pick wildflowers,

take photographs

go to the Parisian marketplace and

peruse the french goodies,

run barefoot through the fountains...

*just for today*

Just A Thought...Laundry Bag?

I love this linen skirt...

Bought it at the Goodwill several months ago

for $2.50

intending to make something out of it.

Today while gazing at it

I had a thought...

A cute fashionable laundry bag??? It already has the drawstring in the top... Has the cutest ruffled bottom that has the frayed edge along with tucks and ruffles.

I intended to make pillows at the time of purchase... What do you think? Blessings~

My Official Junk Queen Crown ~

I won this adorable crown over at Hummadeedledee blog a few days ago.

I let Cleopatra try it on first...a little too big for her head...

but...

JUST PERFECT

for mine!

I was amazed when I received it. I was expecting a box and

it came in a bubble envelope. Deb is one creative lady

to make things you can fold and get in an envelope~

LOVE IT!

Isn't this vintage crystal amazing~ Love her little tag too ~

This was what greeted me when I opened the envelope.

Deb packaged it so pretty...thank you~

Beautiful bows and an old patriotic song ~

And finally...my wonderful crown . I shall wear it with pride...

More Altered Bottles ~

I just can't seem to stop making altered bottles! I love them and I never know

what they will end up looking like. I do love how these turned out~

I used genuine antique ledger paper that has

beautiful script on it for the background on the

CHERISH bottle. It is dated Friday, March 30, 1894 ~

I used an old music page from a songbook for the background on this

DREAM bottle~

Beautiful vintage buttons on top of the corks~ And I am loving cheesecloth embellishments as well. I have listed both of these in my Etsy shop if anyone is interested.
