I had fun making a couple different heart designs. I had so much fun that I could have made them all day long. :) |
What do you think? |
{For some reason the ribbon looks purplish to me, but it really is a pretty gray and goes well with the graphic} |
I purchased these adorable little french script *buttons* from Abby over at Abbies Paperie Garden. Aren't they just the cutest? I love them and am enjoying using them in my artwork. |
I hope you enjoyed my ramblings today. I do enjoy you gals and blogging so much. Happy White Wednesday and be sure and visit Kathleen over at Faded Charm again this week. If you haven't entered my giveaway yet, be sure and check my previous post and enter!! :) |

I've had this happen to me too and somehow something even better always seems to blossom. Your hearts are beautiful! You should add them to your shop. Oh and I love how the buttons you ordered from my shop look...so pretty.
xo,
Abby
What a delightful creation. You have such fun. I have a huge painting to do so all I've done all day is try to make space for working on it. Really hard when I'm so full. I'm thinking how blessed I am to have so much inspiring "stuff" around me. Have a wonderful visit with your sister.
LOVE these perfect hearts Sandi! Your 'mistake' was brilliant. :)
These little hearts are adorable! Love all of the little touches you added to them.

Hi Sandi, Your hearts are gorgeous. I love the French script buttons too. Joyous Wishes, Linda
I just KNEW I had seen those buttons somewhere before. I am glad you told us. I would have been thinking about it all day!
Thanks. Beautiful project.
*Hugs* Have a fun and safe trip.
Not ramblings at all I like to hear the thought process of artists. The cheese cloth was a nice touch.
hugs

Lovely
Sometimes I rework a "unfinished" (not mistake) project, depends on my mood and whether piece is encouraging me to go on or if it is taunting me ( then I rip off usable supplies and toss the rest)
Your hearts are lovely! Don't you love making a mistake into a masterpiece?! Have a wonderful trip!
Blessings,
Cindy

Fine sunday
You are awesome Sandi! These are soooo pretty. No one would have guessed that your second try was not your first.
I know exactly what you mean about making them all day long...I have been making collage hearts for two days now :) I get on something and just can't seem to change course.
hugs...
Those hearts look wonderful, Sandi. I know what you mean about things not working out the way you planned. I always think that when I'm taking photos...if I just let things evolve naturally they turn out better. Hope you have a good trip :)
