I grabbed a handful of lilacs yesterday and brought them inside to showcase the mini crate. |
I found six of these glass pieces at the Goodwill the last time I was there. They are marked Ikea and made in Italy on the bottom. I paid 55 cents each so I think I got a bargain. :) |
I so want some white lilacs and we did plant a bush about two or three years ago, but so far no flowers. This year it looks like it MIGHT have one flower on it. I sure hope it flowers more next year. |
I hope you enjoyed my lilacs today. Can't you just smell them? I went out on the back porch this morning and was hit with their fragrance as soon as I opened the door. Scrumptious!! Linking up with White Wednesday over at Faded Charm today. |

Very pretty.
I love what you've done with the crate! And your photos are just so gorgeous!
very lovely with the flowers and what a great idea to use the stamps. Google for IKEA, its avery nice Swedish shop we also have a few shops in the Netherlands, people love the shop very much. Love Petra
That crate looks so cute--love the lilacs in it. You are inspiring me to copy you:) I'm sure I have a crate somewhere in the garage:)
I love how your crate turned out and your lilacs are so beautiful lying in it. Mine are still little buds and I can't wait for them to get bigger. I, too wish I had a white bush, but I did notice my wisteria had some blooms....yeah!!! I've only had it for 6 years now. I'm still very excited:-)

Happy WW Sandi!
LOVE lilacs...sure sign of spring for me! Off to pin!
So lovely Sandi! Love what you did with the crate. I bought a couple on clearance at HobLob and haven't had a chance to make them over yet. After this next wedding, I will get my free time back, and can do some of the stuff that has been put aside for now!!
Have a lovely day!
Hugs,
Becky

Sandi, your photos are amazing!!!!! I love what you did to that darling tray. It look so cool holding the beautiful lilacs. And yes, I do think I can smell them clear over here.
sending hugs...
Sandi, Lilacs were my mom's favorite...I can smell them and they make me think of her. I brought some starts from those old lilac bushes of mommy's out here. Sandi, I can almost see smoke coming out your ears from all the ideas you get:):) I love that little crate so much. I have one that I might just fix up. xoxo, Susie
Catching up! I am so sorry I didn't realize you were in the hospital!!! I am ashamed of myself for missing your note. I do hope you are doing better. I've had blood clots from IVs & they are not fun but I pray you'll be ok.
The Easter egg hunt with the wee ones is darling ... so beautiful your kid-lings Sandi.
Now where can we all purchase this bread? That looks scrump-dill-y-ishous!!
I'd get out of bed earlier for that greeting me.
I will try to call you next week. My sister I hadn't seen in 45+ yrs. is here this week. So far, good.
Hugs & get well prayers my precious friend.
Have a beautiful weekend ~
