A trip to the greenhouse

I just couldn't wait any longer so I took a trip to my
local greenhouse on Monday and also stopped in at
one yesterday while I was on the road.
I purchased some gorgeous flowers and I hope the
sun comes out to stay soon so I can get these
planted in my pots!

You can't really see the hip hop plants in the back
very well, but they are gorgeous. They have a very
delicate white flower. I was told they are very easy to
grow and spread fast so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
The allysum in front is called Snow Princess and it is
supposed to fill in and drape down the sides of baskets.

Had to replenish my violas and pansies as they have
just about died out over the past few years.

Lovely ivy geranium hanging basket. Usually I get a soft pink, but they are getting harder to find around here and I have yet to find a nice one.

More ivy geraniums (Temprano pink and Contessa White), asparagus fern and ivy plants.

I just came in the back door and plopped them down and later took pictures right where they were at. Now to get started playing in the dirt... can't wait!

Happy Thursday everyone! Blessings~

Can't wait!

...until these little violas or johnny-jump-ups
appear. We won't have to wait too long now.
Our forecast is for 83 degrees on Sunday
which will be a record if we hit it.
I am definitely ready for warmer weather.

I pulled these photos from last years file because
I wanted to do a pretty post and I am just too dog
gone tired to take any photos. Worn out...exhausted...
just plain tired...yep that's me. But tomorrow is another
day and I shall recoup.

Still loving this birdcage/candleholder just as much
as the day I found it along with the gray pot and
my flower frogs.

Yes ...it is almost time here in Michigan for
the flower gardening to begin and I for one
can't wait!

the time of the singing of birds is come..."
