Breathtaking Images ~

I just had to share these gorgeous images with you.

I purchased these from Eva last week and I think

that I will be heading up there again

tomorrow and dig around for some more treasures.

My husband may be working tomorrow for the first time in months,

so that is a good thing. When I go to Eva's antique store he tells people

that I went "to a store that is dusty and has a basement full

of thousands of books that smell that way too"...

lol...he doesn't share my desire to rescue what I can before she closes,

but he is always my biggest fan no matter what I do.

I wanted to make these images high resolution , but my

computer is on another slow streak today so I had to settle for

lower resolution. I do hope you enjoy them anyway.

White Wednesday

I want to apologize for not making it to very many

blogs on White Wednesday. If a blog loads easily and

fast for me, I can visit, but if it takes a long time to come

up unfortunately I can't. One of these days it will get better

though and I will be visiting everyone then.

Favorite Herb...Basil ~

Do you have a favorite herb? I do ~

Mine is *Basil*

I saw a recipe awhile ago for Basil Lemonade

and I shared it on my blog,

but I had never made it myself...

fast forward to yesterday.

I was cleaning out my refrigerator and had

a package of lemons and 2 limes that

I needed to use up.

So I juiced them all and put them in a pitcher

along with some sugar and water.

It was so

good and refreshing. But, then I remembered...ah ha...

*BASIL*

I put a few leaves in my glass {hubby wouldn't drink basil lemonade if he had to}

I took a wooden spoon and kinda smooshed them against the

side of the glass to release some of the basil oils.

It was

WONDERFUL !

I am enjoying it today also ~ Blessings~

My little granddaughter sure does ~

She collects them... carries them... And drops them into the basket over and over... getting pure delight out of the simple things in life. I want to be more like her~

This is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it~
