Warning: Girly post ahead!

I took advantage of the sunlight streaming
in my bedroom window today and hauled out my
camera. I never know when to stop adding photos
so you are getting several today! :)

I love this tag that Ozma of Odds included along with
an order from her etsy store.

I adore old lace and pretty clothes.

I found this toddlers dress with the rose attached at
the Goodwill for 1.00. new with tags.

Beautiful lace scarves that I found at an antique
store.

My genuine shabby chic tote bag.
I purchased this on ebay several years ago.
Was I ever surprised when I received it
at how small it is, but I still love it.

{guess I should read descriptions more carefully}

Love a pretty ruffly scarf.

pretty dresses and scarves all hanging
out together.

I warned you this would be a girly post.lol.

I love the french look, but I also still
love these goodies as well.

Blessings~

I want to apologize for not making it to very many
blogs on White Wednesday. If a blog loads easily and
fast for me, I can visit, but if it takes a long time to come
up unfortunately I can't. One of these days it will get better
though and I will be visiting everyone then.

Blessings~

Photo Boards ~

Holly over at Holly Doodle Designs made some photo boards a few months ago and that is where I got my inspiration to make these. I really wanted to use much older wallpaper, but I already had this paper here at home so these are the final results. They are very easy to make and turn out just adorable. You can embellish them any way you please and make them your own personal style. The photos are removable so you can interchange them from time to time ~
This striped one is my favorite...I used vintage lace ,millinery and seam binding ribbon ~ My little granddaughter playing in my fountain outside last summer ~
Another take on a photo board . I hope at some point to get some older wallpaper to make some of these with. They would make great gifts ~
Try your hand at making these...you will love them~ Blessings~

Vintage Lace Organization ~

I had a couple of these jars just sitting around and a pile of antique lace laying around so I decided to combine the two. I added a scrapbook paper design to the top of the lid along with a vintage millinery flower . I then tied seam binding ribbon around the jar along with a *LACE* flashcard. Loving these colors right now ~ Blessings !

Embellishment Center - Part 2

I wanted to hop in here quick and show you my new embellishment center with all my goodies on it. The last picture I showed was on the box right after I purchased it. I wish I had better lighting to show how pretty it really is. The pink glass jars are a beautiful shade of light pink, not the color it shows. I purchased them new at a Goodwill store and they were originally *WISH JARS* from Hallmark. I don't have anything in them yet, but love them as is for now. If you notice the one shelf is bowed down a bit, but I decided I am not going to schlep this thing all the way back (2 hour drive) to get a perfect one. It fits in with my room just great! Have a wonderful day ~Blessings! Sandi

Christmas Guest ~ Lovely Antique Book

Is this the most gorgeous antique book you have ever seen??? I found this a few years ago and there was no hesitation at all in purchasing it. It does not have a copyright date so it is an early one. I absolutely LOVE the cover and I know you will too... I am selling the vintage millinery roses in my Etsy shop. Please do visit....Blessings!

Shabby Vintage

I thought I would add a few more decor pictures. I absolutely love this picture! I got it at Home Goods a couple years ago for 4.99! However, I haven't quite got the wall decor along with it figured out and everytime I look at it , it drives me crazy! :) In the corner by this wall I have an old creamy white shutter with a clock on it in the same colors as the picture and a loveseat is underneath with a white cover and a quilted throw with the colors in the picture as well so if anyone has any ideas please feel free to share them with me.
I just couldn't pass up these adorable shoes especially with the vintage millinery included.
This is one of my favorite photographs of another corner in my living room. I purchased the candle sconce at the Goodwill for $3.00!! I hope everyone has a wonderful day today!

Study in White

I thought I would share some pictures of "white" around my home...You can never have too many candles...
I purchased two of these vintage blinds for a total of $6.00 at an antique store and I love them...
An old picture frame that I painted white and added a pink rose picture...
LOVE this old arched window! I love to decorate with old shabby windows as they add so much character...
Baskets on the top of my refrigerator...
Vintage style mirror hanging above my bed... I made the vintage millinery garland and it was so easy. Have a wonderful day!
