Don't walk , but RUN to your nearest Michael's store! {Just sayin'}

It is quite possible that you are all WAY ahead of me, but just in case you aren't,  I wanted to
share my  new finds. I was fortunate enough to be in the *city* a few weeks ago so Michael's
 craft store was a must stop and I am so glad we did.

I adore these note cards!!
Just perfect for that day of LOVE coming up...you know??

Valentines Day!

They were only $2.00 per package of 10 cards and envelopes!

{They are in the dollar bins in case you need to know where to look for them}

I also found a bunch of Valentine rubber stamps for $1.00 each!

I had to make a couple passes around the store before I found them. That store has some stamps
here and some stamps there...kinda confusing, but I didn't give up! lol

I love to find these dollar stamps because most rubber stamps are so expensive.

{I had a close up photo of the bicycle note cards also, but I accidentally blew it away!}

*sigh*

Happy Tuesday!!

Peace, Love, Joy and Hope

I did a little after Christmas shopping one day last week and found these adorable white
frosted pine and bell garlands so I purchased the last two @ 50% off.

I hung them on my chippy white shutters and took a few pictures.
I do  love taking pictures. :)

Don't you just love the simplicity ? I do.

I was thinking that these would make neat postcards or notecards.
What do you think?  I may check into that.

Praying that whatever is going on in your life right now, that you are at peace and
have love and joy in your heart. If by chance you are going through hard times,
please don't give up...there is always hope.

French & Vintage Style BLOG GIVEAWAY

This is post # 98 for me and always wanting to be different I decided to have a giveaway now instead of waiting until post #100! And also as usual I have my pictures all mixed up! I will be drawing two names and the 1st place winner will received the lot of things at the bottom of this post and the 2nd place winner will receive the Vintage Christmas Crafts Book by Sara Toliver.

To enter the drawing just put a comment on THIS post and I will draw a winner next Tuesday. (Only US residents this time please) Please feel free to put my giveaway on your blog as well.

2nd place winner will receive this neat book! It has patterns in it and instructions to make vintage style goodies, including those cute little cardboard houses that so many of us love! It shows how to get the silver off of the back of a mirror to make it more vintage looking and many other wonderful ideas. There is also a chapter in this book called Simply Vintage that has photos from Debbie Dusenberry's home... owner of Curious Sofa that are just gorgeous!

1st place winner will receive this assortment of goodies which includes a neat vintage style journal just in time for the new year, assorted hang tags made by yours truly, several scalloped oval tags, 5 sepia toned rose notecards, fleur-de-lis ornament and a gold glittered key ornament. I saw the key ornaments in a magazine and hurried off to Lowes to get a couple and they are so pretty! I may even add some other goodies ~

Inspiration Board ~ Before and After

I made this picture frame into a collage frame a few years ago by adding fabric , ribbon and vintage thumbtacks. I originally used it to put cards on that I received in the mail and then one day I used it to hold vintage baby cards for my daughter-in-laws baby shower. Now I use it for anything that inspires me. The first picture shows the color has been until last week when I decided I wanted a new look. I painted it white and then "shabbed" it up a little. I do love it, but now it is too white. It should have been more of a creamy white. I told my hubby I could go outside and get some dirt and rub into it and that would probably fix it. LOL I will figure something out. Have a blessed Sunday! BEFORE: AFTER:
