All Fairies Welcome !

I am so excited! Hubby and I built this adorable little fairy house/yard conservatory out of old windows this past weekend and we finally got it done enough to set up last night.
We didn't have to purchase one thing
(which is good since I am on a limited budget) I love how it turned out! We already had the windows...
...and this piece of cast iron trim that I had purchased at Hobby Lobby
on clearance for $2.00 months ago.
(not having any idea what I would do with it)
Isn't it just perfect for this little house? The one window on the roof has only one piece of glass left so
I just stuck a hollyhock through one of the open panes...
Love it ~
The two pieces of trim that the cast iron is attached to
is from an old dresser that I gave to my daughter.
She took them off while in the process of repainting the dresser
and decided she didn't want to put them back on so.... She gave me the extra pieces and
here they are...
just perfect ~
I sat my little iron chair planter on the inside.
It has pretty pink geraniums and greenery ~
I want to add a few more details like a silverware
chandelier, more trim, maybe a doorknob and a
sign that will say, "Faires Welcome", but I just couldn't wait to show you.

Do you think my fairies will like their new home? I hope so...
I want them to stick around for a long time ~ Blessings~

I Love these little "greenhouses". I could kick myself, as 2 months ago I let hubby set out to the curb, 2 windows that would have been great for this. I've been wanting to make one myself forever, why did I lt him toss those out? (I do know that someone snatched them up, so they didn't go t o the landfill). Yours is wonderful!

This is cute as can be! I love fairy houses. When my daughter was little we made one together (out of moss, twigs, leaves, etc.) and it will always be a memory we will cherish. You've done a beautiful job.

I have one too. I put a finial from Lowe's on top and it latches w/a cool old copper twist lock.

My hubby used to work for a lady that had one stacked on top of another with shelves and lighting inside. So pretty.

OH,I am so jealous. It's beautiful. Would you mind telling me what you used to put it together. I have a stack of windows but I'm carpentary challenged and unfortunately so is hubby.
