Simple blessings

I fell in love with this cloche on clearance at Home Goods a couple months ago. I passed it up the first time and just kept going back to it. I finally put it in my cart, paid and walked out the door.  I have not regretted it. It can be used so many different ways and in so many different settings, but for now...white mini boo pumpkins.

I have had the mercury glass bowl for a few years. I picked it up after Christmas clearance at Target one year...75% off...it was a deal steal!!

I think my blingy earrings add the crowning touch to these pumpkins.

Cherish simple blessings...that is what I want to do this fall and actually all year through. I want to focus on the simple things and not get caught up in all the drama and hooplah that sometimes comes along with the holidays.  Easier said than done I am sure, but I am going to try.

I don't think a person can ever have too many mini pumpkins. :)
Some of my mini boo's have a few blemishes, but that is okay.  I am not perfect either, but I am so thankful that God loves me anyways. I know that He loves me for who I am and who I am striving to be and not by what has happened in the past or what may happen in the future. He loves me unconditionally and that is the most perfect form of love.  Thanking Him for that love today and everyday!!

I actually got creative today and made a stocking from old feedsack fabric with a ruffle and matching roses so I will be showing that soon. Although it looks like it was made for King Kong as the pattern was 24 inches long!! I want to make my own pattern and make a few smaller ones soon too.

Linking up with Faded Charm today for White Wednesday. So sorry that I can't comment to everyone who leaves me a comment. My internet is just too pathetically slow these days. I do try to get to many that don't work out. I will keep trying though.

Just love it.....
It is hard to keep your mind on the simple things with all that is happening in the world. I find my best way is not to watch the news..... Especially the national news!!

Hi Sandi,

Love the cloche with the little pumpkins. That mercury glass stand is awesome also.

But, the words you spoke of our Savior's love for us is what really touched my heart. I love that He loves me...blemishes and all.

Oh Sandi, beautiful post. I love the little white pumpkins and I saw that beautiful cloche at HG, but I had a plain large one, so passed it by. But it is beautiful! Glad to live vicariously through you my friend.

Hi Sandi!

The cloche and bowl are sooo lovely...especially with the sweet little white pumpkinettes!!! I have that same bowl, but I picked it up at Goodwill...with the Target tag still on it. I LOVE mine, and use it all the time!

Love your photos, and your heart for God!
Thanks for sharing!!

Such a gorgeous cloche, Sandi, and it looks perfect with your mini pumpkins. I love those little white pumpkins, but am having trouble finding them here. You've got a lovely vignette here, and I like your sentiments, too. There's lots to be grateful for.

Hey sweetie! I'm with ya about getting back to the simple life, decluttering, and just appreciating the simple pleasures in life. That's one of the important things that blog friends and blogging has taught me in the past year. And oh.....I appreciate you, too ---- cuz you're a blessing in my life! :)
