I just need to get my hands on some vintage lace! And I just love wooden spools ~ I have a jar full of them from my grandmother! I think a little thrifting and antiqueing are in order! ;~P Blessings!
Hi Sandi, The painted spools look so pretty. What a great idea (your giving me ideas). Thanks for stopping by and your lovely comments. The Swedish Room
Oh my gosh do I ever love these! Your pictures are beautiful. This looks like something one would see in Victoria. Sandi do you know you inspire me to create more? You do. Now where did I put those wooden spools?! Hugs
Simply gorgeous Sandi. You turned something so basic and simple into pure eye candy, and now you have me wanting to run out and find some old wooden spools to pretty up for myself. Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas. Have an awesome weekend!!

I have always loved to go to auctions,garage sales and flea markets. I don't remember a time when I didn't like to. I even bought antiques as a youngster. Not expensive ones, but beautiful trinkets just the same. I also have always loved to create with my hands. If I have the time or sometimes I just make the time, I enter my studio and create to my hearts content. I hope you enjoy my blog that includes a little home decor, family, God and me. {Smile}

Sandi, So pretty and romantic. I love the pins and the broach you used to fix the lace to those painted spools. Stunning!
