White Wednesday Spools & Lace

some *found* wooden spools that I painted white
added snippets of vintage lace a few vintage buttons
an old rhinestone pin
and I love the result.
I guess I am a bit obsessive
I just couldn't stop taking pictures
hope you enjoy them as much as I do...

Please visit Katleen over at Faded Charm
to see more beautiful WW posts.

Sandi, So pretty and romantic. I love the pins and the broach you used to fix the lace to those painted spools. Stunning!

I just need to get my hands on some vintage lace! And I just love wooden spools ~ I have a jar full of them from my grandmother! I think a little thrifting and antiqueing are in order! ;~P

Great idea, Sandi--these are beautiful! You have the best projects--still making a bunch of the tattered rosettes you introduced us to--thanks again!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Oh my gosh do I ever love these! Your pictures are beautiful. This looks like something one would see in Victoria. Sandi do you know you inspire me to create more? You do. Now where did I put those wooden spools?!
