Breath of Spring

I was out in my yard yesterday taking a few
photographs of my flowers
and I wanted to share them with you.

Lilacs are my favorite spring flower and these
are just starting to open. We have five bushes now
and I am so excited to see them all in bloom this year!
There will be purple, lavender and white blossoms
along with a lacey dwarf Korean lilac.

{note the splashes of yellow in the background...
those pesky dandelions. lol. }

This wild geranium always puts on a
pretty show for me.

This is a gorgeous blossom
on one of our apple trees.

Beautiful white pear tree blossoms. More stunning lilacs.

I love my bleeding heart plants.
They usually get huge, but they didn't get as
big this year.
I wonder if it is because of less rain.

Last, but not least...
I think these phlox almost look fake in this photo,
but they are real as real can be.

Enjoy your Saturday and have a
gorgeous weekend.

So lovely...thanks for sharing. We have been doing some work outside and had to dig up my front flower garden and move them around the house. Not too many made it. Hopefully they will bloom next year!

Did ya' miss me?!, sweet friend.

The dandelions gives such a lovely depth to your pics Sandi. Lilacs, roses & violets are my favs, also.

I got this hair brained idea a couple years ago to take out over 80' of lilacs to create a 'new' garden look ... & have regretted so getting ready to put them back in ...

Have a beautiful week, sweetie. I sure missed you!!!
