Had you wondering there for a minute didn't I?
Okay not the magazine and not the goodies,
BUT
Jeanne D' Arc crocus bulbs!
I have wanted to plant some crocus bulbs for years
and I always forget until it is too late. Imagine my
surprise when I was in Walmart and found these.
I had to get them for the name alone! lol
Really though, I did want white ones so it worked
out perfectly.
Now to get them planted...

Hi Sandi... oooh I love crocuses.. it's so exciting when you uncover them from under the snow in the Spring for the first time... I have purple and yellow ones, now I must get some white ones too!... wishing you a beautiful weekend with your family... xoxo Julie Marie
...Yah ~ you tricked me
(well it IS tricks or treats month!! just don't let it happen again!!)
Funny, I just bought the paper white bulbs!! As soon as these babies hit the shelves, I buy ALOT and stash them in my bottom drawer fridge until the first week of November. (this "tricks" them into blooming bigger flowers as they thought they were buried outside, and by staggering when I plant them, I have flowers blooming at New's Years Too!) ~ and voila! By Christmas it smells like...well as I imagine it does at Jeanne d`arc Magazine!!!!
Try it with your crocus'

You had me hook, line, and sinker! haha! I love crocus flowers, especially for Christmas. I think I'll be heading to Wal-Mart!
Have a great weekend!

A great find! I'll have to look for those next time I'm there.
G'day precious Sandi ~ And, what a joy will fill your eyes & heart when they poke their wee heads thru from beneath the snows in spring.
They are beautiful ...
Have a great weekend.
TTFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
PS Pray ... they got pre-engaged!
Ooh Sandi,
I shall look for them. I bought some Narcissus and White Daffodils a couple weeks ago at Home Depot, the crocus bulbs would be beautiful mixed within those too. Can't wait to go look! Thanks for the heads up. Happy weekend with your fam!

I too love bulbs, I highly recommend one of those weed pluckers, they make a descent hole and you don't have to bend over. Although I like to use a bulb planter too, it's like a cookie cutter. I believe I bought it at Walmart too.
How pretty those will be next spring! I've got daffodil bulbs on my shopping list. Now that we have a new place, I have to plant new bulbs!
We recently did our front yard over and had to tear up my front flower garden...I transplanted all my bulbs and my sweet little crocuses were the sole survivors!
I've been meaning to plant some crocuses and tulips. It's always such a wonderful Spring treat.
