Peacock Park French Warehouse Sale!!

Hubby and I had quite the busy weekend again. Last weekend we went to our oldest son's and this
weekend we spent the weekend with my daughter
and her family.

Can you believe that we were fortunate to be driving
right past Peacock Park's huge warehouse sale??
It was amazing!!

{did you see the article in Victoria last year about
Gina's home and business...just beautiful!}

Thousands of items in the french style and some
were probably literally from France too as I know
she goes over there on buying trips. Two days of marked down prices and then one
day of 1/2 off...just what Sandi needed. lol.

The owner is Gina Galvin and she has several of these
huge conservatory's on the property. Alas, I didn't get to
bring one home because they wouldn't fit in the car! lol

Love them!

So many items to choose from

This is Gina off to the right. She was very busy and it was hot, hot, hot !!

Boxes and boxes of items to pick from. Oh where to start?? I was just in awe and had to snap photos quickly while *snapping up* items so you aren't getting any fantastic photos...just reality. :)

One of these buckets came home with me.

A lot of turquoise.

Does anyone remember a post I did where I said I
was looking for some of these books?? Jackpot...and low prices too!! Several of them found
their way into my box!

another gorgeous book box

...and more.

I thought this mirror was beautiful. I saw it and
was going to grab it for $10 and forgot until we
left! There was just so much stuff to see and choose
from. Then on 1/2 off day I missed it again. :)
Guess it was not meant to be.

just about anything you can imagine

Again, was going to get one of these white curved stands
on 1/2 off day at $15, but forgot until we had left.
I think I need some help...or someone to follow me
around and grab stuff for me.

It was hard to get good photos because of
the blazing sun, but I tried.

Loved this huge angel. A steal at $150!
I don't know if it sold on regular days or the
half off day ,but it had a sold sign on it.

you name it...she had it

Love this little house and finials.

Magnificiant huge statues for outside.

Aren't they beautiful??

Thought these were cute.

iron

Loving these old trim pieces.

more garden art...or rather estate art!

I hope you enjoyed my tour of the sale.
It was really hard to choose what to bring
home because of the variety of stuff and limited
car space, but I brought home too much! I think I am still in buying mode for the booth
and I don't have it anymore. lol
More posts to follow soon about our fun weekend.
Blessings~

Oh Sandi... It was so hot yesterday I don't know how you managed to shop... We arrived home yesterday and I could hardly function in the heat.... The Rams come up at bit short at State but did well for a little country school completing against the big schools... I am still trying to do some little things around the yard but haven't purchased abything new so it doesn't make it quite so appealing but everything gets so weather beaten it doesn't make much difference... I see all these blogs where they have these lovely outdoor settings and they wouldn't last one day here with the winds and elements... On our travels the past couple weeks there were beautiful homes but there were many places that looked like they hadn't been touched for the year.... I did notice people did not have as many flowers planted as they usually do... Take care... I am going to play catch up again this week...

I would have loved to go to this warehouse sale! I met Gina a couple of years ago and she is the sweetest, hard working person I've ever met! She comes to Marburger all the time! I tell her she is an inspiration to me all the time! Glad you got some great Wayside Treasures there! LOL!

Your hubby must be a walking saint. My husband wouldn't even stop the care, unless he had to us the facilities. You did good.

Sandi, You lucky girl! What a fantastic sale. It's a shame that your car was too small to bring home one of the large cages. Next time you have to come with a truck, lol. It must have been a lot of fun to check out all those wonderful things. I love the buckets and books as well as the statues and architecutal elements. Have fun playing and decorating with all your great finds!
Have a lovely week :-)!
Hugs,
Julia

Sandi you lucky Gal... I LOVE Gina's Blog and products... and ESPECIALLY the Conservatories... if one would fit on our property I'd order it and probably spend much of my time there!

Google research says it is not a showroom and it is not open to the public. That means you need to rent a tour bus and pick us all up to take with you next year...tee...hee! I would love it!
