He Lives!

{I think I may have shared these pictures last Easter,
but just had to post them again this year}

I have very fond memories of growing up and
attending this little country church.

I am so thankful that I had parents who
loved me and who taught me right from wrong.
They didn't just talk the Christian talk,
but they also walked it each and every day and in
every aspect of their lives.

Because of their influence,
and a choice I made to invite
Christ to be Lord of my life...

I know HE LIVES!

This was my church...my little country church that
I loved so much. Sadly it was torn down some years ago.
Every time I drive past the corner
where it once stood, I think of the wonderful memories
and of how I learned about Jesus and
His sacrifice for me.

My sister, brother, mom and I on
Easter Sunday 1965

{that's me with my hand on my hat}

my sister, brother, dad and I .

Weren't we just too cute? All dressed up in our Easter best...

after all Christ gave His best for us.

Wishing you a very blessed Easter as we
celebrate our risen Lord!

You have your nerve!!! putting my 2 favorite things on your writes ... Krispy Kremes & baby's.

My friend in Japan just wrote this week that KK just opened over there & there was a 9 (NINE) hour wait in line to get (1) each KK. I can imagine!

Think I'll go dip into those Easter cinnamon rolls now that you've surged the juices ... chuckle!

Happy Easter!
Have a beautiful weekend.

I love all of your outfits, and Easter Hats too. When did little people stop dressing like that. I wanted to purchase a dress for my little nieces baby and do you know everything is spaghetti straps or sleeveless, give me a break she's 3. I guess I'll be sewing her something. Have a wonderful Easter. And yes "HE LIVES" in my heart too.

That's just wonderful Sandi! I meant to get online and read this sooner, but we had a doozy of a weekend. It was worth the wait though - a great post. Those of us who were blessed with such good parents (good teachers and good examples, both) are truly a lucky lot! Lovely post.
