Blissful Sunday...and maybe WW too

I love lilacs, but they don't love me.
This is all I can have in my house
or my sinuses go crazy.
So sad because they are my favorite
spring flower.
At the rate I have been posting these days this just might
be my WW post too. Been crazy busy and today is no
different. I will have to fly home from church and
finish up my tea party decor , head back to church
to decorate and make sandwiches for the tea etc.

I need to go to my booth tomorrow or Tuesday. Didn't
make it at all last week....time is moving faster
every day. At least I think so.

Recognize the chair and ruffles?? Got two of these
chairs for $3 each some time ago at the thrift store.
The white *ruffles* ...that is a skirt from the thrift store.
I love to purchase skirts filled with ruffles. I have
another one that I intend to take apart and make
a pillow with the ruffles already made for me
and at 2.50 you can't go wrong!

Purchased the pillow several weeks ago from
frenchfreak.com and love it. I think her pillow prices are amazing!

Happy Sunday~

It is such a gloomy, dreary day here. I decided to take a little "vacation" and search the web. Your wonderful blog helped chase away the blahs.

I'm sure the tea turned out beautifully. Flowers planted in teacups sounds lovely. Hope that when the day is done, you will find time to rest for the week ahead. I find it ironic that Sandy says it is gloomy and dreary where she is. We have had clouds and drizzle all day and it is fabulous. I much prefer this to days of hovering dust any ol day. Many blessings, Tammy

Hi Sandi, your lilacs are gorgeous! They are my favorite Spring flower too, and they bloom here on my birthday in a couple of weeks... I have terrible allergies too, and cannot bring them inside, so sad, because I love their Heavenly scent as well... wishing you a beautiful Sunday... xoxo Julie Marie

My friend, I am here, truly I am ... chuckle! You are right, time flits too darn fast, & I can't seem to catch up with it.

Oh, a TEA? You didn't invite me! Pout! Chuckle! Have a grand time, it is such a fun thing to do.

Lilacs are one of 3 favorites of mine ... I so remember the Heavenly scent coming from them & as a child I would pick little bouquets for G'ma Maggie & Mother. This is one flower that doesn't bother my allergies, TY God! Can't you just drift away surrounded by these beauties ... the other 2 are my roses & violets ... take me away!

Guess what ... I found another bottle ... I am going to give it a try since I liked the first one I did & you approved.

Have a beautiful day, sweetie. Hugs of love, Marydon

I adore lilacs too! I've tried to grow them without much success down here in the south.
