Just a quick post here...do you watch
American Idol ?
I will confess that most of the time I don't. It really
doesn't interest me, but tonight was slightly different.
You see I found out that my 2nd cousin was going to play
his fiddle during Lauren Alaina's performance tonight.
So if you watched it and saw some awesome fiddle
playing it was my cousin's son Nathan Stoops from small
town Alvordton, Ohio...blink and you'll miss it. lol. It is
a few miles from where I live now and where I was also
raised. He is an outstanding musician and was thrilled
when Lauren called him and asked him to fly out and
play for her tonight.
Okay I am done bragging for now. lol.
PS. yes he does play professionally , but I can't
remember the name of the band. I believe he is
living in Nashville or around there right now.
Blessings~

I confess I am hooked on Idol, it's a show my whole family can watch. We have watched it since the 1st season.
Well, how neat is that? You can brag all you want because it was awesome!

I don't watch AI anymore...haven't in years but I enjoyed the video!

DD loved this and was quite interested:)...she's the real musician at our house...
Oh how exciting! I watched it, but I just now replayed your video to pay particular attention to the fiddle part. Wonderful. My family are regular idol watchers - it's a big deal around our house. We look forward to it every week. My favorites are Lauren and James. Both will go far.I still say that Lauren is too young yet to even know how much she can do with that voice!
