Online Garage Sale continues...Jeanne D Arc scarves added

I am continuing my online garage sale with a few more items since my previous post was such
a success.

This wooden angel is beautiful and is stamped "Moonlight and Roses...Marta E Peters" on the back.
She stands approx. 15.5 inches tall and is approx. 6 inches wide at the widest point.

Price for this beauty is $20 plus shipping.

It would make a perfect Christmas gift.

Next up are four Pottery Barn bird ornaments. These are so beautiful, but I have never used them so
I am passing them along for someone else to enjoy.

Gorgeous glitter {I believe it is glass glitter} along with heavy cardboard and paper details.

These measure approx.  6 and 1/4 inches tall by 3 and 1/4 inches across.

{They still have their original $8 each price sticker on them}

Selling these for $5 each plus shipping.

I just added this Jeanne D Arc scarf...well it isn't this specific one because this one is mine, but I do have another
white one exactly like this one and also a cream one. BRAND NEW items that have never been used.
$25 each plus shipping.

Just send me an email if you are interested in anything here or if you want more pictures.

Thank you!!

Antique Christmas Ornaments

I have been sorting out all my Christmas items and just had to share some of my beautiful
very old ornaments with you. I have a thing for "treasures from the past" as I know many
of you do also. Here are just a few of mine...

Several of these are so old that they are almost paper thin and have lost a lot of their
color, but they are still beautiful!

Don't you just love this amazing glitter?

I don't know why, but every time I see the above ornament, it reminds me of the Star-ship
Enterprise on Star Trek! lol

In case you are interested, these are now listed over on my ebay site. You can click here to
be taken there.

Happy week ahead and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Was it worth it??? {Update on items for sale}

{UPDATE: several of you have contacted me wanting to purchase items , but some
of you do not have your email linked up to your blog so there is no way for me to
 contact you. Please link your email  up to your blog or email me directly...the link is
 on my profile page here on my blog. I feel bad when I can't get ahold of you}

I kinda felt like I was getting ready for a wedding...you know...a big production.

Sewing, gluing, painting, creating, glittering, printing, cutting,scrunching, packaging...
for days weeks on end and then

POOF...

It is  over with...done...fanito!

I am one tired lady and I have decided that once a year is about all of this that I can handle. ha!
{Kudos to you who do this every week or even more...my hats off to you!!}

I got many, many compliments on how nice my treasures were and some people even
purchased an item or two.

But when you get right down to it...did I sell very much??

I sold a few of the burlap bags and several stockings
{but still have some left}

...a few candles and ornies

 one of these Eiffel towers sold

the star boxes didn't sell...two cloches did

I think I sold maybe three sets of candles at $ 6.00 a set...all my number tags went except one set.

I didn't sell any of the old tart tin glitter ornies, {I think they were $6 each}
 but I did sell some of the music ornies with angels on.

All three paper trees sold

a few nests sold

some music sheet angel wings sold, the beautiful white script ones didn't

Sold one bottle , none of the cabinet cards, none of the scrabble tile sayings etc.

...so the million dollar question is:

was it worth it???

Well...I am not sure.  If I wouldn't have had two
ladies that purchased a lot from me, then I would
say it was iffy at best. Do I want to do it again
next year?   Time will tell. I suppose there is something
to be said for hanging in there year after year and
hoping my  "style"  grows on people.  Also, am I pricing
too cheap? I know I am not pricing too expensive.

Lots of questions, but all in all it was still a

great day. I met many wonderful people and chatted
up a storm with them! ha! Here's to small town living!!

{Note: If you see anything you want to purchase give me a

shout out as I just may have it left}

Pigeon in the Parlour

In my previous post I mentioned stopping in Holly, Michigan and finding a little store called

*Pigeon in the Parlour*.

The pictures on this post are ones that I snapped inside this gorgeous place. I do wish I
had taken more because several of them turned out blurry. That is what happens when
the picture taker doesn't really know what she is doing. ha!

I met and loved chatting with the owner whose name was Emily. Such a pretty lady that
makes you feel right at home as soon as you step inside the door.

Unbeknownst to us, there was a Christmas open house going on in the village so our timing was great.
 The store was decorated from top to bottom and was just beautiful.

I don't remember if these were candlesticks or lamps , but t heir glittery beauty
just drew me right in. I do love glitz and glamm!

This whole booth had mostly Peacock Park items in it. *sigh*

Another lovely booth full of pillows and other amazing treasures.

Sparkly, silver ornaments in several booths in different shapes and sizes...my favorite!

I thought this pillow was so pretty! In case you didn't know...I have a *thing* for pillows. :)

This is the lovely sign that sits outside on the sidewalk.

Just pure beauty everywhere...I love the style of clothes also!

A beautiful wreath made out of coffee filters caught my eye.

I was soooooooo good. This is all I purchased along with the December issue of Romantic Homes
magazine. I thought this tag was so unique and  fell in love with the little silver ornies.  I hope you
enjoyed my small tour of this amazing store. There is so much more to see than I have shown
 including a huge WALL of Annie Sloan Chalk paint  and the Vintage by Nina book.

If you are ever in or near Holly, Michigan I suggest you stop in and take in all the beauty.
Be sure and tell Emily that I sent you. :)
