My Jenny Craig Christmas Tree

Last year we decided it was time for a new Christmas tree. We have had one for several years that you put every single branch in a slot and then you have to put the lights on , fluff out every single branch etc. That was getting to be too much work for me so we went tree hunting. ( I have fibromyalgia and it really affects my shoulders) We looked at big trees, small trees, fat trees , skinny trees, tall trees , short trees and we always came back to this one. It is a tall and narrow tree, but just perfect for our house. It also came prelit so that is definitely a PLUS!

My youngest son was not impressed with our skinny tree so this year I named it our Jenny Craig tree. LOL Although, I think he is warming up to the idea that every Christmas tree doesn't have to be a nice full tree. Him and his wife and daughter were over this past weekend and he commented on how nice it looks! :)

I find the same to be true in life. We are all different sizes and shapes and personalities and how boring this life would be if we were all alike! God made each and every one of us as unique individuals. made in His image and we should celebrate that fact! We are all Gods creation and He makes no mistakes! Blessings to you and yours today!

Sandi, I adore your Jenny Craig Christmas tree!!! Each year when we go to get ours (can't by a fake because I have no where to store it!), I look for a skinny one like that...but no luck! So I end up with short stumpy ones ;). I love how you have decorated it as well...so beautiful and reminiscent of a bygone era...

Your tree is beautiful ~ so vintage~y! We have a tall skinny tree in our family room, because its just a small room and I didn't want to re~arrange furniture to suit a fluffy one.

Love the tree where did you find it? I see you are a fellow "Michigander". I am from Lake Orion. Love the photos of your mantle, etc.
