I did an instant makeover yesterday that I ended up LOVING! This is the final result...

I started with a very short skirt (that I had purchased at the Goodwill for $2.50 with just this idea in mind) It is loaded with ruffles in a thin white flowing fabric (and looks new) ~

I slipped it over the top of this lampshade ~

Tucked it all in at the top ~

Added another rose pin and ended up with this beautiful result.
Instant lampshade makeover. I just LOVE it ~

Repurpose something today and you will love the satisfaction you
get from not running out and buying it already made...
Blessings~

Simply gorgeous!
What a great idea! My daughter has a skirt very similar. Wonder if she'd notice . . .
This shade is sooo coool. I like to do similar things with mine with old slips. About the pillows on my blog that you liked. I use down filled pillow forms.
