House Blessings ~

May You Be Blessed

Whether you come in to visit
or just to rest
When you enter our home
may you be blessed.

I love pretty books and this one is no exception. I was drawn to it the moment I saw it a few months ago. It is a small book full of prayers, poems, and toasts celebrating home and family ~
In these turbulent economic times when things are so uncertain we need to remember the things that matter most...our family, our friends and our Heavenly Father who loves us so very much ~ Take some time to celebrate your family and home today. Blessings ~

Hi Sandi,
I did a search of our local library, they don't have that book but I have requested another one by the same author.

Hi Sandi. Very lovely post. I have the feeling allot of people do not realize what is really going on in the world yet... It seems some of us are really trying to make due and not bring compounded problems for ourselfs... I know some bloggers seem to be buying and spending like there is no tomorrow and then there is you and myself and a handful of others that keep trying to instill in repurpose and digging into what we already have.... I know I read one particual blog that is georgous but the spending it takes to make her home that way is way out of my league.... I still get the biggest thrill out of finding a treasure at a very low price tag....

Sweet Old Vintage made some very good points...and so did you Sandi. Of course, we've been through a lot of this before. We came to Texas in the 1980's and bought a house just before the bottom fell out of the oil industry and home prices went down the tubes. Now it's happening in most of the rest of the country, but we've seen it all before. With experience we've become wiser in our old age.

Hi Sandi, Amen to that. I feel so blessed to have a home at this time. Some my feel that my house isn't much, but it is my world and those who live in it are the most prized and cherished things in it. Thank you for reminding us of this again today.
Hugs, June
