Still playing with paper...

...yep still playing with paper. I have wanted to embellish
some candles and was delighted when I found 10 white
candles at the Goodwill just perfect for my creations.

A little cheesecloth, some old buttons, vintage song
pages and string.

Don't they look so much prettier than plain white candles?

{oh and did you notice the tablecloth the candles are laying
on? It was brand new in pkg. at the Goodwill for 3.00 and
then it was 1/2 off. Sanders brand I think...dutch or german
because I can't begin to read the tag on it. It reminds me of
burlap but is much softer...flax ...linen?? I love it!}

Then I decorated some jars that I picked up this week at
the antique mall where I have my booth. I haven't prettied
up jars for quite awhile so it was nice to get into the swing
of things again.

I am just loving my crinkled ribbon!

These pictures aren't the greatest, but they did
turn out pretty.

Happy Friday my dear friends. It is so cold here in Michigan that
I am starting to feel like an Eskimo. Maybe I should build
and igloo! :) Hoping you have a
glorious weekend ahead! Blessings~

Oh Sandy, your jars are always so beautiful! And that suitcase knocked me over...I love it!
You run circles around me in the creating department...that's for sure! I can hardly wait for you to post just so I can get a look at how you spend your time in the freezing cold state you live in.

Where are you going to create in the igloo???
big warm hug...

It's really cold here today as well. I had to be out, but now I'm in with a heating pad on my whole body.

The candles look fabulous. What a difference from plain white candles. I need to be creating again, it is so good for the soul.

Love all your bottles and the candles do look much better!

Don't you just wish a bunch of us across blog world could get together for a week or so and just have each one teach us how to make what they make...and laugh and get to know each other better?
