Aren't these vintage hats just gorgeous? I have listed them in my Etsy store today as I continue to downsize my *PRETTIES*. If you are interested just click here. I need to get some money coming in instead of going out...seems like as fast as it come in these days...POOF...it is gone ~

Photo Boards ~
Holly over at Holly Doodle Designs made some photo boards a few months ago and that is where I got my inspiration to make these. I really wanted to use much older wallpaper, but I already had this paper here at home so these are the final results. They are very easy to make and turn out just adorable. You can embellish them any way you please and make them your own personal style. The photos are removable so you can interchange them from time to time ~

House Blessings ~
May You Be Blessed
Whether you come in to visit
or just to rest
When you enter our home
may you be blessed.
~Author Unknown
I love pretty books and this one is no exception. I was drawn to it the moment I saw it a few months ago. It is a small book full of prayers, poems, and toasts celebrating home and family ~

This and That ~
This post is very random and has no rhyme or reason, but I wanted to share a few things before I head out today. Someone purchased an item for a gift from my Etsy store recently and I wrapped it up for her...isn't that tag precious ~
My most favorite perfume right now...*BELOVED* ...I really don't wear much perfume, but fell in love with this when I smelled a sample of it.

Old Lace & Roses ~
Some of my all time favorites...Old lace and roses ~
I snapped a couple pictures of these roses before they totally gave up and died. I have had these since the day before Easter and they lasted until Saturday. I would say looking pretty for almost two weeks is great for real flowers. I love the colors on these beauties~

Reflection ~
I have been very busy trying to get decorations ready for a bridal shower and also trying to redecorate my back porch/entry. Remember my post about "rearranging"? I repainted the little green cupboard on the wall in a cream color and that is what is reflected in this mirror. I was amazed at how many items I had in creams and whites. Just went through the house pulling things *off and out*. I must get busy again...just wanted to give you a glimpse of a beautiful reflection.

From Drab to FAB ~
I did an instant makeover yesterday that I ended up LOVING! This is the final result...
I started with a very short skirt (that I had purchased at the Goodwill for $2.50 with just this idea in mind) It is loaded with ruffles in a thin white flowing fabric (and looks new) ~

Rearranging ~
I am in the mood to repaint, rearrange and spruce things up! I think it is this warmer weather that has gotten ahold of me. Spring is a time that I always want to dig out and purge my house.
These pictures are shots of my back porch that we enter before coming into the kitchen. I *LOVE* this paint color so I may have the same color mixed to repaint the walls. My son made the little wall cabinet several years ago. I am thinking of painting it white...
We just hauled our ugly looking deep freezer out to the garage and I put this table and chairs in it's place. It looks much nicer~
I love this table and chairs. This is my *MARTHA* set purchased at Kmart a few years ago. It had blue print cushions on it , but I changed them fast. LOLLove this basket of flowers ~
Don't look too closely or you will see holes patched in the wall. I thought I had more of this paint
color and so I patched all the nail holes and went to get out the paint
and I don't have any! LOL I was bummed !
This shelf goes full length above my washer and dryer. I want to take everything off and
redecorate. It has been this way for too long. I will most certainly utilize some of the same
decor as I am going to use what I have ~
Love this mirror! I purchased it at a garage sale several years ago
for $1.00. Love it as is with it's chippy peely patina ~
last year. I love the pink rose mosiac pattern~
I also found four of these chairs at a garage sale about 9 years ago for 50 cents each! That was some garage sale! They had prices so cheap and I got several items. Old pottery, old valentines,
vintage Christmas ornaments ...you name it they had it. I think the most I paid for anything
