Yesterday when I got up I decided I wanted to make an apron. I probably have six or eight apron patterns that I got when they were on sale at one time or another for 99 cents each and I decided it was high time I made one. So I am guessing I started cutting the fabric out about 9 ish or 9:30...I was ALL DONE by 11:30. YAY!! I love the style of the pattern with the flared flounce at the bottom.
I also started a full apron awhile ago and was working on it a couple days ago and I got frustrated so I decided to make this one for now. The other one is almost done, but...silly me. I have sewn for so long that I ususally don't transfer the markings from the pattern and that is one that should have been marked so...gotta do a little remake, but no biggie. I will post it when finished. But I decided I will NOT be making the full aprons to sell. LOL
I don't know if you can tell or not, but there is a pocket sewn on the front of the apron...gotta have somewhere to stuff those hankies for our hormonal times. lol
BE STILL MY HEART...
...My gorgeous peonies have finally opened! They unfurled their petals in a grand display for all to see and it was so worth the wait. I love them!
Peonies and vintage lace...doesn't get much better than this. Love their intricate petals ~
I love taking photos and sometimes I just get snapping away and don't know when to stop. I probably took 50 and saved 25. Now isn't that a little ridiculous don't you think? I have to stop and remind myself periodically that you all don't want to see 25 pictures of the same thing (lol) so I managed to get them pared down to these four...Hope it isn't too many. I do get a little carried away.

Oh Sandi! I like your Peonies much better than mine and the lace back drop is just perfect! I'm learning so much about picture taking from all you blogging girls! ♥ No, 4 pics are not too much! ☺
I like that apron too, I haven't worn an apron much lately but, I remember my sister and I serving at different functions in the Polish community and if you had a fancy apron you did better somehow in the pay dept. We usually served a wedding for $3.
I just noticed your Beautiful Blog Award! And it is so beautiful! Everything you make and the photos you take; just gorgeous! It is a pleasure to read and look at, thank you!
Sandi,
I had peonies at my last house, they were dark dark pink (almost burgundy) and yours are much more beautiful! I love that color pink. If you can, send me the name of the peonies I'd love it. Also I love your apron, I wouldn't want to sell them either!
Smiles, Christine
Love the peonies and your lovely rose print apron. I don't have any peonies in our yard. What a shame they don't last longer. Another thing you just have to enjoy the moments. More rain and the farmers here are all replanting. Not a good thing.
Love the fabric, Sandi. Love youro posts. TTFN ~ Marydon
Your apron & flowers are beautiful! I love having pockets on aprons...nice place to stash things as you go about your day!
What a darling apron. Great job on that!! I am so loving those pink Peonies. The creamy pink color of them is so beautiful and I just imagine how lovely they must smell.
Sandi, I made an apron for my sister Destiney's b-day and it took me all day!!! I don't know if I will make anymore anytime soon lol...but yours sure looks cute! I LOVE your peonies...wish we had some here...they are stunning.
And you know me...I always snap away so 50 sounds pretty good to me...hehe...I should try to get mine down to that!
Hi Sandi,
Your apron is darling! And you know I love that peony! What a lovely one that is. I am like you in the photo taking department. I get going and don't know when to stop.
Smiles,
June
