Come Into My Garden...I Want My Roses To Meet You ~

First of all I am overwhelmed! Thank you to everyone who is signing up for my giveaway! There really are a lot of people in blogland who love birds~
I picked some of my old fashioned roses yesterday and took photos of them with different backgrounds. It had just rained and if you look close you might see a few raindrops . I so love taking photos...We will call the photos above and below Rust and Roses ~ Lace and Roses ~
Architecture and Roses~
Mirror Image Roses

These roses have the strongest heavenly smell! Just this one little vase that I have sitting on my kitchen table gives the whole room a heavenly smell. I have a feeling these roses are very old. They were here when we moved to this house 27 years ago and probably long before that. They are so easy to move too. Every year I have little starts all around the main bush which I dig up and plop in the ground and I have a new rose bush the next year. Can't get any easier than that! Have a blessed day today ~

Hi Sandi.
These photos of your old garden roses are sooo pretty. I don't think there is any scent that beats the scent of these old treasures. I love the titles you gave each of these pics. They are just beautiful. I wish I could get a start too.
Thank you so much for your visits. I love seeing that you stopped by.
Hugs,
June

Beautiful roses Sandi. I can just imagine how lovely they must smell. You are very lucky to be able to grow your own roses to enjoy year after year.

Hi Sandi,
Your roses are beautiful. It is so neat that they were there 27 years ago. I wonder what the story is behind them and who originally planted them. I love to think about things like that... no wonder I'm so far behind on everything. Nice to daydream about such things though ;)
Off to enter your giveaway... oh yes, how do you take the starters and plant them somewhere else?

I am very much inspired by your garden. My husband and I are total beginners and I love seeing how others make the most of their space. Next on our agenda is to build a pergola (is that the right term?) which I see you have and get some sort of quickly growing bloom to climb all over it!
